I like this stitch! I’m currently in India away from all of my beads, but I go home soon and can’t wait to add this stitch to my repertoire!

Happy to hear that you liked this design. We totally feel your pain of being away from beads ))). Hope you will get back to them soon and will make some beautiful crafts again!

Thank you for this pattern. I was wondering why not BRICK stitch the extra petals?
@villamanja_slovenia2 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching! Actually, no reason. Simply since this tutorial is dedicated to peyote stitch, I kept using it for petals. But yes, you can use bruck stitch as well!

What would be the measurement of the thread?
@villamanja_slovenia3 ай бұрын
I usually use a thread no longer than 70 cm. A longer thread often tangles and twists.

Thank you! I made for my sister a bracelet of puzzle pieces with bits going out or coming in the sides, colors meeting crazy in the middle, I finally gave up on it. Now I can cut it up and do it right. Extremely good instruction.too.

Hi, can I ask you? What app do you use for making pattern? Thank you

Thank you for watching our channel! I made a scheme itself in Excel. Final document created in PowerPoint and converted to the pdf file.

Thank you for the beautiful pattern. I went until the end but twice now after finishing the bracelet the jump ring is falling from the thread… jump rings are not fully closed so you can open them and unfortunately the thread is going through them. Any idea how to remedy this?
@villamanja_slovenia3 ай бұрын
Thank you for your feedback about our tutorial! Happy you liked it! There are couple of ways: first - use a double jump ring (also known as split ring). Like this, for example: www.hobbyperline.com/en/jewelry-supplies/jumprings/split-ring/jr10229-sterling-silver-gold-plated-split-ring-5mm. You can also use a whole ring; usually you you can find those in "Connectors" section. Something like this: www.hobbyperline.com/en/jewelry-components-special-edition/minimal-jewelry/minimal-jewelry-components/mj10528-minimal-jewelry-rhodium-silver-plated-open-circle-link-12mm. Or you can simply use a small drop of jewelry glue to close the gap between two ends of your jumpring. Let us know if any of those suggestions work out for you!

How do you add them to the main piece? After or before baking? If after, what do you recommend as an adhesive?
@villamanja_slovenia3 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching us and for your question! I add them after I bake the main piece because of wax. Illusion cord won’t melt, but wax would. Flowers shown in the video were made with air dry clay. But for floral earrings I will bake earring first and then will glue in stamens and cover glue traces with pastel paint. Let us know if that works for your creations!

Easy to do so thankyou but how do you add them to polymer clay? Wouldn’t they melt in oven?

Flowers shown in the video were made with air dry clay. But for floral earrings I will bake earring first and then will glue in stamens and cover glue traces with pastel paint. If you want to add stamens before backing, you can use acrylic paints without wax, then glue stamens with liquid clay and bake together with main piece. However, please do a test baking with illusion cord. Just to make sure 125-130 degrees Celsius are not affecting it. Let us know if that works for your creations!
