I was wondering, since this is my first camera and it was gifted, is it possible to actually attach a microphone to it? Maybe through A/V out USB Cable? Because I honestly agree with you with the quality of the videos, especially with the audio :(

This camera is perfect to learn an be creative with. With an EF 50mm 1.8 for example, you can take professional-level photos, with just shutter speed, aperture and ISO to play with...perfect to slow down.

I think you do not appreciate the potential of such a 360° camera. Having the choice to pick any possible point of view and focal angle in post is an undeniable advantage over any single-lens camera. Ofcourse this feature comes with a sacrifice in image quality compared to other high end single-lense cameras; it would be naiv to expect anything else 🙂 But low resolution and mediocre image quality can be fixed! I use a fantastic app (Topaz Video AI) to upscale, improve and enhance my footage. Works good enough for me.

I got this camera for my 60th Birthday, I had been seriously into photography in the 70's and 80's but then the digital stuff came along at the same time as the kids and I couldn't afford to replace my Ricoh KR10 super so the photography took a back seat. If you want to learn about photography, the basic rules and take some stunning pictures as you learn then this is a fantastic camera. The focal length of the lens you use isn't true, because its a crop sensor but all that is the stuff you learn as you use the camera. Don't be put off by this review, its more than a little contradictory as I'm sure you will realise if you watch it.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I kinda agree on some things and yes to learn the basics any camera will do even this one. But do realise that in 2024 we want a modern camera with some features that are standard in 2024. This simply does not deliver the latter. Have a great day!

@@GaryJahman Times have definitely changed Gary, pictures used to be grainy now they are noisy! And film was always ASA not ISO!

@@GaryJahman Yeah, in my day you had 12/24 or 36 shots then had to wait till it came back from the developers to see any mistakes now everything can be corrected almost instantly with photoshop. But that's another minefield!!

Thanks for watching and sharing your question. Too bad I don’t have this camera anymore so sorry can’t really help with the exact settings. But in general it is 4K, 24/25 frames per second and that’s it 😁

Really depends what your own preferences are. I do like the colours from Fuji. I also like it that with Sony you can have the option to “grow” to full frame with same lenses. In overal you cannot go wrong with either camera 👍 Choose the one you simply like the most. But for me personally I’d go with Sony as I know that system the best

I own a Sony camera (a7rV) and FujiFilm xt30ii. The Sony is a precision tool, if you want the best possible image out of camera they are generally better but the photos are very 'sterile' if that makes sense. Editing them is often required. The Fujifilm cameras are a lot more fun and you can actually just use the out of camera jpeg with the film recipes with no editing and they are beautiful. Like Gary mentioned, both are great. Sony has a much better ecosystem with lenses etc too. So if you just want a more fun photography camera go fuji (still great results) the Sony if you want to explore more the professional side and expand in photography

I believe it depends how you buy the camera because when you buy the camera itself in my opinion, it really isn't worth it. So I ended up buying the bundle which includes a carrying case, obviously the strap for the camera the lens it already comes with and that also gives you an amazing lens that goes from 75 to 300 Zoom, which is a really good lens to get started with this camera. Obviously. I know it's not the best of course it's for beginners, but with the tripod I have and my love for photography I can get this camera to work and take great shots. My favorite part is what I said mine was a bundle in a big box that came with a much bigger and better lens.

I have watched your first video from 2 years ago and than this right after... I have win,,, lets say some small awards on some of my pictures from this camera with the 2 kit lenses that came with it... 18 to 55 and 55 to 250,,, I up "Graded to the r7,,, and i still post pictures from the t7/2000d And still get more likes with the t7/2000d than i do with the r7 So sometimes i think that i have made a mistake buying the r7 lol Me and my daughter will go out to take photos and videos i have the r7 and her with the t7/2000d and when we go on the computer some of her photos and videos will look alot better than mines,,, Sorry my point is that this camera is a Great Portrait camera i will agree that not all videos that come out of this camera is great... and audio really does SUCK,,, but you can take some amazing photos with the t7/2000d... that is for sure...
