Hi Matt, I enjoyed watching your videos. I have stayed at Pyramids View Inn, ate at both of those restaurants that you have shown in your videos and got a bunch of snacks at the shop where you picked up the ice cream bar. You're spot on when you say that its "non stop" with the people there. I don't think that its in our nature to be rude to people but you have to shake that off and almost be an ass if needed. Watching your videos was like a trip back in time for my wife and I. However, we both agreed that we'll pass on the pigeon.

I am going to the same hotel soon. Was it loud at night?

The bread is Aish Baladi similar to pita bread, basmati rice is commonly used in India and Pakistan and the crunchy thin Papadum is also Indian.. made from chick pea flour.. interesting fusion of foods at that restaurant. Get yourself a hat your going to get heat stroke:)

Many eat there maybe they are too busy with their work that they go there for quick meals and its more expensive.

Just ask the locals where is the hawker centre around this or that area and they will tell you. Majority of the people patronize these supermarkets : NTUC, Sheng Siong n Giant - very easy to find one too. (7-11 mini mart - their price is more expensive).
