I used to play this every fri and sat night when i was taxi driving about 15yr ago. never had one complaint even from the drunks, just turn it up driver and what the fuck is this? and how can they get a copy? a lot of the time people didnt wanna leave my cab and rightly so. I thought I liked house and dance till I got this album. Literally the greatest album I've ever bought. I went back and bought the original renaissance and it's just as good. They are playing in Camden in October and I'm going....46 years old and I'm gonna dance my ass off

Geoff Oakes, gave me this CD free as I worked at the bank he visited in the early 90's, just wow! Disk 2 is by far and away the best of the 3 in the set. Memories of happier times......

I feel privileged to listen to this. It's timeless. I got to enjoy it at Uni when I bought the CD set in '96. It is simply of its age and little since has eclipsed it. Magical.

When DJ,s had intro building tracks and crafted a set with atmosphere. Nowadays D's dont have the time for an intro track cuz theyre on 1 hour slots at a gig with 45 other djs playing the same stuff.

OMG the memories... Renaissance Volumes 1 and 2 were shere music perfection (my personal favourite being Volume 2, CD2)!!! My love for dance music began with these CDs (Sasha and John Digweed), and the addiction continues to this day. They are true gods and pioneers of the genre. RESPECT!
