Have you tried the tuo light? It flickers between specific wave lengths to simulate dawn. Supposedly they’ve tested it on patients at Berkley. I didn’t notice any difference from an alaska northern lights northstar 10,000 lux fluorescent light box just that its effects were a little weaker, probably since it was noticeably dimmer. I used 6 tuo lights at once. Had the same withdrawal effects I get with any light box that I don’t from sunlight.

Dont compare Mariane with Musk! Its like comparing rag dolls with rockets! Jeff is a business manager... Gates retired... he had first mover advantage and successful in a limited spectrum of technology. So, there is no real comparison for Musk!

I think one of engineers working for Edison invented carbonised cotton string , and thats about it. Light bulb invention started 100y before Edison tho. I think Tesla cult will bring some funky comments into this as well , they are always fast and very impressive

@@GregYeutter Nice! I was going to order from tuolife when the new light comes out but I prefer the look of the Dyson solar, may I ask have you tested it? does it actually work? I would hate to spend £500 on one for it to not actually be healthy for me, health is all that matters.
@GregYeutter
@GregYeutter 4 ай бұрын
@@bennybenny7382 My brief summary is it’s well designed, definitely a nice desk light if a bit overengineered (classic Dyson). I don’t like that the controls are so close together. It’s easy to press the wrong thing. Health-wise, it is nice to have dimming and color temp adjustment, and to “park” the light head into the light tube at night, which further reduces the blue light.

better than M:P ratio would be something like "Effective M:P ratio". Since not all wavelengths that are Melonoptic are equally effective as stimulating melanin the measurement should be compared to as if it were only one (makes sense to go for most effective) wavelength. if that makes sense. Cause otherwise if you had pure far green (getting to yellow) it would be 100% M:P but it would produce less melonin than a 50% midbluegreen and 50% red

There was an IES article about this, now deleted but still cached on the Wayback Machine: web.archive.org/web/20220520063513/www.ies.org/research/fires/m-p-ratios-can-we-agree-on-how-to-calculate-them/ Also Dieter Lang's article is helpful: www.linkedin.com/pulse/handling-melanopic-quantities-dieter-lang/ I totally agree with the sentiment, it's just that there is no standard for these metrics right now. Unless you have seen anything different? Maybe the solution is to just publish more variations of the MP ratio, with an explanation. Or just share the underlying data so people can do their own calculations. What do you think?

To me “More expensive than Gmail” is pretty misleading, as it’s not replacing gmail or whatever email provider, so if you’re paying for Google workspace the 30$/m is on top, per user. 💁🏻‍♂️

i figure the chemtrail companies are the tops, and SAD lamp companies are the bottoms... even a cloudy day is far better than these brain/eye/sleep/everything-damaging lights... and you have to take some responsibility for your bad diet, radiation & LED filled environments, box prison homes, TV mind-programming addictions, and probably pretty much every programmed habit in your life

So continuing on my thread of the lumens you can actually calculate how many lux you will receive based on a square footage of an area by doing a conversion calculator. And it seems like certain corn shapep- Yes, that's what it's called-Light bulbs will help with this. However, the wattage might exceed your standard lamp of 100 w. these lamps are used in warehouses, large areas where illuminations are needed and would actually help you a lot more because with the right wattage you can install them in several light fixtures inside a room so you don't have to sit 12 in away from something or 6 in for some lux lamps. You can just walk around and do your day like normal inside your house, while receiving the SAD light benefits.
@Nah481
@Nah481 6 ай бұрын
But if you need a 10,000 lumens to combat SAD that is truly a 25,000 lux lamp. Also, I noticed that grow lamps emit light in the blue range of 468 nanometers. So check into that instead of buying an expensive SAD light. A grow light can also help your plants 😊

If you have SAD, the worst thing for you isn't antidepressant because it will just make you sleepier and sleepier To the point where you can't get out of bed at all and sleep 10 hours a day. So if you feel you have sad that would go with it like therapy first because antidepressants and anti-anxiety medication will compound the problem.
