Definitely want to power off the unit before installing the adapter. One, there’s high voltage in there; two, plugging the adapter into an energized circuit isn’t best practice.

are the spotter decks from rogue or titan? I have the westside bench but the spotter decks are way more expensive from rogue than titan. Cant tell if the titan version fits

How’s the bench two years later? Thoughts on the spotter stands? Necessary or unnecessary? I lift alone a lot, not sure for me it would be worth the extra cost.

There was no cost to install the WiFi adapter. I did it myself.

I’m pretty sure that add-on WiFi module only works with certain models. From what I understand, the newer daikin splits come with WiFi integration from the factory now.

With the j cups in the highest setting, the bar is 31 inches from the surface of the bench. That should more than accommodate someone with long arms.

Does the app work when your home internet is out, but your phone is connected to the same network? Like the internet is out but I'm in another room and want to control the unit(s)? Any chance you have tried this out or can give it a shot?

I think so. When the module is on your home wifi and your phone is on the same network, they should be able to communicate. I can’t test it because I no longer live at the house where this video was made. Good luck.

turn the dumbbells so the flat sides of hexagons are touching eachother. The way the dumbbells are oriented now takes up more space

With all due respect, hexagon dumbbells cannot be put flat side together because they have six sides. If you did that the dumbbells would be standing on their point corners causing them to fall. Your thinking about pentagons.

I was looking at this exact seat for the Bells Of Steel version of this machine. I don't know how to weld, but I might be able to grind that piece off and attach with metal screws or some other fastener instead. Thanks for the video.

I think I used a flat head screw driver that fir through the inner hole, and then once one side was out, I used a deep dish socket of the right size to beat out the other side. Good luck.

I used a dead blow hammer or a mini sledge instead of a rubber mallet.

the whole black unit can be detached. and it's easier to remove the silver case. I am just done with mine. Hard work.

How tall are you? I’ve seen some comments in other videos where people complain the uprights aren’t tall enough to allow them to mount the j-cups at a comfortable height (arm length) for them.

I’m 6’ tall. I think the uprights are fine, but if you try to put those swing arm bar holders, they require taller uprights (I think).

I've had numerous issues with the driver side step. It will come out and then go right back in. Of course it never happens when I take the truck back to the dealership. I love them, I hate them 😃

The amount of patience this takes to do and film at the same time 😟 I bought mine used and the front arm had never retracted up into the truck it always stays limp on both sides of the truck. The rear arms on both sides always retract however. Any ideas?

Some other people have commented here that the older brain doesn’t have the right tolerances needed to move the steps when resistance is sensed. I can’t comment on that. I’ve replaced these power steps with stationary steps. Good luck with yours. …and yes…. It was a pain to film all of this while trying to fix it. Lol. Thanks for watching.

Hey, no. Have not attached a dip bar, but I will say that I did add the rogue plate holders to the back posts. Doing that adds weight. Plus, if you have a heavy load of plates on your racked barbell, I’m sure it would be a very stable platform to support your weight with a dip bar. Anyway, if you do it, post a video of it, and let me know. I have a wall mounted pull-up / dip combo thing that I love. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment.

@@Audiostylez I think the 2.0 is just a more modular version of the Westside bench unit that Rogue designed to be shipped in pieces and bolted together. It’s a great heavy weight bench set up that is more along the lines of a commercial fitness product, so it will definitely meet the demands of any home gym.
