Most certainly! The hot water brings the seeds out of hibernation and allows for germination. Please comment again with your results😊

How often should I water?
@LuckyDogTraveler
@LuckyDogTraveler 9 күн бұрын
rambutan trees require consistent moisture, especially when young. Avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot and other problems. Check the soil moisture by sticking your finger into the soil up to the first knuckle. If the soil feels dry, it’s time to water

Will it grow in a place with summer temperature of 45 degree celsius and winter temperatures of 5 degree celsius?? 😅😅
@LuckyDogTraveler

Syzygium Malaccense grows best in temperatures between 27-32°C (80-90°F) and is intolerant of frost, requiring a tropical climate with minimal temperature fluctuations. YMMV 😊

@@user-fv6ph3gg2kPlants are difficult to ID without pictures. Pictures of flowers are especially helpful. I suggest you try: 1. Google Lens app 2. PlantNet app, or use their website - identify.plantnet.org 3. Join a Facebook plant ID group Let us know what you find out!

I loved when you said you don’t push products! Haha, no kidding. I like you already. Question: do you find your MG’s bloom less when you fertilize? I find mine stop blooming when I feed too much. Also, how long does it take them to bloom when grown from seed? I once grew a Heavenly Blue from seed under a 400 watt metal halide light and the thing started blooming within 30 days of the seed germinating! I don’t know if it was a fluke thing or what…. Because all over the Internet, it seems to say they take 90 days, but that was not the case for me. I’m actually trying again right now…seed germinated two days ago. We shall see how it goes. Thanks for letting me know that the cuttings will root in water… That’s why I’m here. Very cool.

"MG’s bloom less when you fertilize?" Not sure - I didn't notice one way or the other. "how long does it take them to bloom when grown from seed?" Hard to say as every garden is unique, but as a general rule, in the 2-4 months range. Btw, note that morning glory are self-seeding and can be *extremely* aggressive, smothering vines. 😊😮

Its sad to hear about the lack of interest in people. Allow me to encourage you to continue, you might have a small audience ... but its a good one ; ) . I'm from a big city and no space to grow trees where I live. I love nature and maybe some day I will have the chance to put my hands on the ground and grow a little forest. In the meantime i have this videos to dream about. Good luck and keep it up!

Thanks so much and I super appreciate your support. You can grow them in containers as small trees. I get flowers and seed pods from October - January. TBH, there's not really much more to show beyond the vids already in my lipstick tree playlist. This other video shows a bit what they look like now, check out the very beginning and after the 5-minute mark - m.kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rbN2f6eiyNLDgIk.html 😊

Hi. I am back. Lol. My lilies are growing great. I understand the potted ones, the rysomes can be removed and wintered in a dark place until spring. But what do I do with the ones planted in a above ground flower box. How long does a seed take to become a rysome? Can I leave the potted ones in pot and grow under lights during the winter ? I will try and figure out if I can post pictures here.
@LuckyDogTraveler
@LuckyDogTraveler 15 күн бұрын
Thanks for the update. They should develop rhizomes in one season. Growing here in the tropics they overwinter without dying back, but I have never used grow lights so I can't say for sure 😊
