A little late to this party, but really fun to see how far Trad Irish has gotten from Eire. Nice job to all of you! Shouldn't those socks all be green?

A very pretty tune, this was one of my first soft tunes to learn. The best way to learn a tune is like getting better acquainted with your girlfriend, have to just listen, and more listening everything else will intuetivly come later with the ornaments,Such a beautiful song...

There are a few that don't like Irish music in America but most of them are dead and in their graves by now. Concreting the amount of Irish folks that came to the USA years back I would think most Americans have a wee bit of Irish between their nose and their toes, smiles!

This was one of my first Irish airs that I learned on my Killarney brass whistle in the key of D. A very pretty and graceful song.

Im new to listening to Irish traditional music i would have listened more to Irish Republican music. But then I was scrolling and came across thesel playlists and I haven't stopped. Love listening to music that's ingrained in every Irish person.

I like watching 5+ years old videos, especially from channels that aren't alive anymore. It's such a time capsule that opens a window into a world that seems better than what we have (It's July 2023 btw). Imagine how many such brilliants lie deep in the youtube carrier of crap. But the most intimidating thing here is that nobody know where these guys came from and where did they go after, hope they allright though.

Thisis the closest I have come to finding a full version of this song. Just missing the concertina and banjo. The more instruments the fuller the sound. And this song just soars with full accompaniment. One of my absolute favorite waltzes.
