Hey Samuel! I understand your concern. I delivered what I promised in the video, showing how to match skin tones at 0:09 and color grade at 12:29. At 5:27, I couldn't show color grading because I do it after completing the retouching. Instead, I showed my workflow using Actions and Presets for quick retouching to get to the color grading part faster. You can skip my process and do it your way but if you want to follow my method, you can get the actions and presets I used from my store here: eustacekanyanda.sellfy.store Regarding the Skin Mask plugin, I showed how to achieve the same result with the brush tool at 3:14. I mentioned the plugin at 4:30 because it's what I use and find very quick and precise. My workflow relies on speed, so I incorporate these tools to avoid spending hours on one image.

I need help. I purchased the actions. For frequency separation, I select the area with the lasso tool, but when I try to blur it, it does not blur, the area goes dark. I don't know why
@eustace_kanyanda7 күн бұрын
Hey Blanca! A huge thank you for your purchase, I appreciate the support! Here’s a step by step guide to help you with frequency separation. 1. Click on the frequency separation action. When the "Dust & Scratches" box pops up, click on an area of your subject’s face with a lot of textures. 2. Set the radius value to 1, then gradually increase the value until the textures disappear but the facial features are still visible. Click OK. 3. Select the lasso tool and set the feather to 20% on the top tool menu bar. 4. Open the frequency separation folder, then select the "Colors / Low Frequency copy" layer. 5. Use the lasso tool to select the skin area you want to smooth. 6. Go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur. Set the radius to 0.1, then slowly and gradually increase the radius until you achieve the desired look. Be careful not to overdo it, as the skin can start to look dark. I explained all these steps in detail in this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pqiCitFmla6ve2g.htmlsi=MLavlixramQ_dYrR&t=67

I want to understand something... Bro we watch your videos willingly we don't charge you for that, but for you give us your presets and actions we'd have to pay you? $90? Come on man that's ridiculous man, we watch and like and subscribe and you get paid why not give us those things for free man? SMH 😤
@eustace_kanyanda8 күн бұрын
Hey brother! I appreciate your support and feedback. I get what you're saying. So, I share tips and tricks for free to help everyone improve their photos. The resources I use to produce these videos are funded out of my own pocket. Also creating great actions and presets takes a lot of time and effort to ensure they work well on different systems and photos, which is why there's a small fee for them. These tools can significantly speed up your workflow and improve your retouching skills. I know not everyone can afford them, which is why I also offer free actions and other resources, as well as discounts on my website. Plus, I share plenty of tips and tricks in my videos to help everyone improve their skills without any cost. The $90 is for my Ultimate Bundle, which includes all the Actions and Presets I own and is currently discounted. You can also purchase individual actions and preset packs at lower prices on my website. eustacekanyanda.sellfy.store

He’s not forcing anyone to buy them, he’s just offering them as an option to those who want to speed up their workflow. Let’s remember, this guy also puts a lot of time and effort into making these free videos and teaching us and if he didn’t mention them, we wouldn’t even know they existed.

Photoshop has skin color detection built in already. You kind of lose me with retouch4me presets. Those are paid presets that many don't have. Nor want.
@eustace_kanyanda11 күн бұрын
Hey Adam, I get your point. The great thing about Photoshop is that there are many ways to achieve the same result. At 03:14 I demonstrated using the brush tool to select the skin. I could have also shown how to use the skin tones selection in the Color Range, which I believe you're referring to. However, I find the Skin Mask plugin by Retouch4Me to be more accurate and efficient, which is why I mentioned it. In Photoshop, it's all about finding what works best for you and sticking to it.
@fostervf1611 күн бұрын
@@eustace_kanyanda I agree. But I prefer your tutorials when you stick to photoshop tools. And yes I was referring to the skin tones in color range. You can get some great masking with that. And without buying expensive plug ins. I'm hoping you didn't pay for it. Lol.

Thanks, Brother. How do I install retouch for me? I have the setup but it doesn't show up in Ps. I would be glad if you could help.
@eustace_kanyanda11 күн бұрын
Hey Birkhoff! Is it the plugins or the Retouch4me Photoshop panel you’re trying to install? To install Retouch4me plugins, follow these steps: 1. Ensure Photoshop is closed. 2. Run the plugin setup file for Retouch4me. 3. Open Photoshop and go to Filter > Retouch4Me The Retouch4me plugins should appear in the Filter menu. Let me know if you need more help, Thanks!
