Oh how my family used to love this band all the time, to the point when my mother tattoed the album art for this song on back of someone's calves. So when we heard this on Simpsons, our minds were blown. Really shows Matt Groening never left the punk scene

Fun fact... The lead singer Keith is now a UFC referee. You'll see him sometimes in the ring. Tattoos on the neck short little Irish guy? That's Keith GFY.... I'd still take him over any of those guys in the ring. One tough mf'r

Absolutely terrible "teacher's pet" PC punk that's more alternative rock in spirit than hardcore. replete with extremely verbose essays about how beer advertisements promote rape culture, etc.
I remember this band being called DEPRAVED & changing their name to VISIONS OF CHANGE cos it had more positive connections they were on a lot of compilations with noisier bands like EXTREME NOISE TERROR, ELECTRO HIPPIES & others on Manic Ears & Peaceville I love all that stuff it's my favourite music but VISIONS OF CHANGEs more tuneful approach stood out for me because it resonated emotionally & the lyrics were thoughtful & intelligent

My band at the time (Primedia Cellout) played with this version of the band at Jackson Park in Vienna, WV back in maybe 1994. It may have been their first show. Good times.
@briano0600023 күн бұрын
😂. I was most likely there. If I remember correctly people in the Jackson Park community got up in arms about it and it was shut down to bands playing for a bit. I remember Jesse Smith was playing the drums with his back to crowd. And Eric Reeder on Vocals. Yeah, I believe there is a video of this floating around somewhere with a song or 2 on it. I just can't seem to find it again.

Ah ha, my band has finally made it to YT. You must have a pre-release copy that was sent out to a few zines like MRR or Flipside before we agreed on a final track list because the track list provided does not match the track list in your video. It's a good thing you provided the scan I did of the lyric sheet for discogs so people could follow along. Our singer who wrote most of the lyrics is a famous poet these days with several books released. Full vinyl release with outtakes, demos and live recordings coming in 2025.
