You could use oil free tofu mayo and cut out the sesame oil. All the flavors would still be yummy without it.

Human brain needs fat to function well. This recipe is not unhealthy in any way in my opinion, if that is your concern. If you are on a diet then just skimp on the mayo, this sandwich would still be delicious.

I went to heaven and came back this recipe is so so indulgent , the sauce is amazing , I had more sauce than you , your recipe mentioned 2 cups even with 1 1/2 cup I had a tad more sauce it’s not a bad thing . I used the 1/2 cup of wine I should have probably let it reduced a little more . I didn’t have a lot of olives so I sautéed one entire red bell pepper with the onions didn’t cook it long my onions were burning because I sautéed the tofu first and used the same pan for the onions without wiping off the pan . I wanted to keep the taste off the tofu from the pan , it was an amazing dish fit for a queen this would be amazing with antipasto with all sorts of tapas . It will stay in my recipe book . I wish I I could post a picture . Thank you

What a beautiful dish! Have you tried thinly sliced lemons on pizza? They are delicious, and not too sour after cooking.

I’m not seeing tapioca or nutritional yeast amounts on the written recipe.
@ThoseVeganChefs6 ай бұрын
Sorry about that. It's 2 Tbsp of each. We just updated the recipe on the website as well.😉

@@ThoseVeganChefs I did 2T of Nooch and 4T of tapioca starch. It came out amazing. I based the amounts on the mozz cheese recipe that we make from scratch. I co-own a vegan pizza place called @veganpizzaland.

@@ThoseVeganChefsCan I use black lentils instead of red? I know black lentils retain their shape better. I’m not sure if they will change the taste or look of them.

I am new to your channel. This veggie ground beef looks delicious and easy. I lokecall the ingredients except two. I haven't had sugar for over 15 years and i am allergic to soy sauce. What other sweetner could i use and could use liquid amino or acqufaba instead of soy?
@ThoseVeganChefs6 ай бұрын
Thanks! You could use liquid amino or tamari. For sweetner, maple syrup, agave or just skip it. Let us know how it turns out!
@frasersmith83976 ай бұрын
Thanks. I will use 1/2 teaspoon of stevia and let you know.
@stephenjanke92046 ай бұрын
I would maybe start with 1/4 teaspoon, it is always better to add then have it to sweet. 👍@@frasersmith8397

By thawing the tofu after freezing it your letting all the marinade escape , you should freeze the tofu after pressing it , then when it thaws all water seeps out , then you rehydrate it with the marinade
