I love how there are so many versions of these & they are all unique.....& good! It was interesting how you made the 'silence' after a heavy snowfall the backdrop to this Smiling Man entry. While I agree with others that this 'SM' wasn't as creepy as others, I am wondering if that is deliberate on your part? Because often real Evil does NOT appear as threatening or scary....until its almost too late. Lastly, it was a change to have it end basically like the 'original tale'.....the would-be victim (man) escapes but will likely never walk alone at 2AM again! Good work here.

I’m trying to remember what I saw, it was something like this where a guy was being chased. He got away. Took a breath, and then after a few seconds you notice the guy in the background was sprinting after him at full speed.
