He has a lot of natural ability but i don't think he worked on his craft as much as he should have. He played his part for the group and i think he was good with that. But there was a possibility for him to be more vocally than what he was.

Chris was the secret weapon of the group. When listening to their 5 part harmony Chris' voice was the one that stood out, he possessed an edgy high-pitched piercing tone that made and molded their harmonies and choruses. In addition his solo on _I Drive Myself Crazy_ is very good, I wonder why he wasn't allowed to sing solo much more. JC and Justin were very talented with skilled voices but there was room enough for a further talented third main singer in the group 🙌.

I think he has bad anxiety on stage sometimes. I know he threw up before their first show, and he was always the one that would get the most nervous pre-show on tours. So maybe he didn't really want to?
