why isn't Jason responsible for his own choices? like he always claimed neither Sonny or the Qs are responsible

@@camm8642 I never said Jason wasn't. But his own family refused to listen to any of his concerns. Sonny is the only one who would listen to him. If the Q's were a little more understanding...maybe Jason wouldn't have chosen the dark path he did.

​@@DarkDestroyer98 well there dealing with a person with brain damage ppl act like they should treat jason like nothing is wrong but I don't agree with that especially so soon after leaving the hospital..the Q's did not handle things great but to expect the people who knew him best to be able to distance themselves and there relationship as it existed is not realistic compared to Sonny who knew him in passing or his former friends..the nature of the relationship determines the response to a degree. If the Q's were more open minded truth is that probably would have just meant Jason doing whatever the hell he wanted consequences be damned train surfing etc mind you this is a person who didn't have a sense of fear and judgement was seriously impaired there is a the terrible quatermaines being overbearing aspect to this but what is not as talked about is the medical part of this back when GH actually cared about such things.

@@camm8642 Exactly. They were dealing with a person with brain damage, by SMOTHERING him. I get the concern, but their "tough love" approach on Jason was never going to work in the condition he was in. All Jason wanted was to be listened to. Ned got that. Lila got that to a degree but the rest of them didn't. It's just interesting looking back on the origin of this version of the character and the what if's.

@@DarkDestroyer98 he didn't just want to be listened to he wanted do whatever wanted to do regardless of whether it was safe for him or for others....Ned got it to a point t onot smother him but jason distanced himself from Ned also and Ned was not his parent so the relationship is very different....Lila was pretty much live and let live with everybody but in truth Lila relationship with Jason was surface level at best she never truly got her grandson back...which is my point regardless how the Q's handled things the family dynamic was forever changed....in terms of them being at fault for him turning to Sonny I don't know if I agree given Jason's lack of fear, thrill seeking nature and doing dangerous things even before the mob......its probable he would have ventured into something dangerous anyway the fact that he didn't is probably due to Robin's restraining him from doing so.
