The coastal road project was not President Tinubu's initiated project. Late ex-president Shagari initiated it in the 80s, but all successive Northern presidents -including the military regimes refused to do it because they didn't want the South to develop more than the North. 2. 15 trillion naira is not going to be paid at a go... it's going to be spread along the 8 years of the completion of the project...which is less than 2 trillion a year. 3. President Tinubu said, the road would improve southern Nigeria's economy by over 30% and put 30million southern Nigerians in full employment .., I believe these are what many Northern leaders don't like, hence, criticising the project. 4. 10 million Northern children out of school is not the responsibility of the Federal Government, this is the Northern governor's responsibility sir.
