Thank you very much. I like your lessons very much. There are lots of well explained guitar lessons here on youtube. Yours are some of the best. In others, even if they are good, I still don't understand one thing. A lot of lecturers immediately start showing in slow motion how the individual parts are played, without playing the whole thing at the beginning or during the course, how it should sound in the end and what they are based on. At the same time, there are several versions of almost every well-known song. A little different from the studio, a little different at different concerts, with a different cast of the band over time, with a slightly different played solo, slower, faster, sometimes even transposed by a note. That's why I'm glad you play the whole thing first.

Hey Colin; I just learned the Johnny Rivers version, I am surprised how different the playing is between the two. I will have to give this version a go. I am struggling with the strumming of JR version though. Thanks for the lesson. (Chris)

The Fender is more traditional but the Roland more versatile . Soundwise I couldn't hear a lot of difference from here. Personally I have had enough of tempermental , expensive , and difficult to repair , modern tube amps. They don't make them like they used to.
@rockabillyrevolution
@rockabillyrevolution 15 күн бұрын
@@garrynathan8478 I’m in agreement on the repair front. The blues cube has died on me. The heaviness of tube amps combined with lack of on street parking for musicians makes them a tough option though.

@@rockabillyrevolution The Blues Cube packed up ? That's daunting . Personally after years of paying out repair bills on a Fender Supersonic 22 I plumped for a Boss Nextone Artist so far so good. My amp tech showed mercy and said he had never had a Boss Katana in for repair . Fingers crossed .
