No Hip-Hop music since can compare to the 80s Hip-Hop. Run-DMC Public Enemy LL Cool J Grand Master Flash and The Furious Five Eric B and Rakim The Roxanne Wars Plus, many other artists and songs that were released in the 80s. My teen years. Good times 😜

The Real Roxanne is actually the one that became that name after Elease bowed out after this song. Her successor was the actual inspiration for “Roxanne, Roxanne.”

Just to clear this up this is Elease Jack and not the the Real Roxanne most People know from Let's go go,Romeo or her later Albums.Elease was the the Real Roxanne on the first Full Force produced U.T.F.O answer Record.After they parted ways she recorded under the Name Elease the original Roxanne and Miss A.J. Martinez became the Real Roxanne.

Oh my God this was my first concert, Henry J Kaiser theater, Oakland, and guess who opened up for UTFO too short it was his very first concert. He showed up in his mothers Oldsmobile with a gold tooth. The first thing he said was Biiiitch! We went crazy!
