Hi Patrick, can you please help with F&G interface connection to Bosch AMC2 controller ? Can we connect F&G potential free contact to any one input of AMC2 controller or do we need a separate input card for F&G interface?

I have the Bosch MIC 7100i and I am very frustrated with the large number of software bugs in the firmware (latest v7.89.045). Here are some examples: 1. Auto tracking PTZ for VCA keeps turning itself OFF. I see that it is set to AUTO in the Configuration Utility live view and Internet Explorer live view, but Google Chrome always shows that it is OFF every time I return to this setting. 2. The camera keeps resetting the audio input to Level 70 for no reason after I set it to Level 20 in the Configuration Utility or the configuration web page. I have to keep changing it back to 20 every day. 3. There is no way to mask out parts of the scene when the VCA pant/tilts to a foreground object blocking the object being tracked, for example when a tree or pole is in front of the car for a brief moment, the VCA has a strong affinity to follow the tree or pole instead, and abandons the car, even when the car movement is still clearly dominating the scenery. 4. The Configuration app in Windows is always very slow, seems like it has a memory leak. My Panasonic i-Pro cameras never had this many bugs. I hope BOSCH can start fixing bugs.

In this video at 5:13 we state that the Mobile Access Server is reachable on port 5700. But in later versions of Visitor Managements you are asked for 2 server addresses. The first is administrative access to the mobile access backend. That is 5701. The second line refers to the Registration section of Mobile Access. That's still 5700.

Tell me how to remove auto shutdown; during large conferences, all the equipment automatically turns off every 2-3 hours and you have to turn everything back on. As I understand it, the timer goes off

The panoramic ceiling mount detector is designed for commercial applications, so pets should be kept out of the protected area. This detector carries a 4.5 kg (10 lb) weight limit for animals. Small animals such as rodents, birds or even a small cat should not create false alarms.

Well when the Bosch motion sensor goes blue the one left above is turned off i think because it also has an anti-creep feature

We have an issue were everything is set as explained but the system will operate on activation first time and it will not deactivate until panel is restarted , the same again if you want to activate.anyone has a clue for this

When you click on activate and then save AMS will send the current configuration to the panel. If you later undo the activation it will not clear the settings on the AMC. The configuration on the panel can only be undone if tou break the network connection to the PC and then press the reset button for a few seconds.

Looks great on the webinar, but needs improvement in real life. I've been using the MIC IP starlight 7100i for a few months now, and I am surprised by how many software bugs I'm coming across in the configuration app. The web based configuration is good, but the Windows Configuration Manager that is required to set Video Analytics is terrible. It often becomes very slow (memory leak?) and often raises error dialog boxes. The VCA has major limitations such as having greater affinity for a foreground object (palm tree trunk) that the camera pans across while tracking a person/vehicle, and there is no way to VCA mask an object that is outside of the preset view to prevent this behavior. When recording to SD card, the SD card stops recording with an error when it fills up without automatically deleting/overwriting oldest recordings when it reaches max capacity. These two feature gaps that I mentioned are very basic things which affect typical use cases. My experience with competitor Panasonic i-Pro is that they are lacking in features, but their software is rock-solid without bugs. My experience with Bosch so far is that you guys have lots of fancy features but you have numerous bugs and glitches that make you camera unreliable. I hope you can improve on this with future firmware/app updates.

Hello @bagusyoga2161 thank you for your question. In the CCS 1000 D Discussion System there is no energy saving mode, probably you refer to an optional setting called "switch microphone off when not used for 30 seconds". By switching off the setting, the microphone will remain activate. You can check this in more details in the user manual resources-boschsecurity-cdn.azureedge.net/public/documents/CCS1000D_Operation_Manual_enUS_63050412202571787.pdf in section 7.4.4.

Good intel, and good video. One suggestion though, i would have added a brief description to the part number for each item equipment as you called them out. The part number dont mean much to people unfamiliar with your specific equipment, so for example, saying 200watt amplifier right after or before the part nunber would help reinforce the purpose of the various items listed. Generally, it's an informative video, though. Thanks much.

Have you sorted the terrible paint application your using 🧐 the old forward vision mic300 400 412 are brilliant I’ve had some in service for 15 years in Cornwall by the sea and the condition of the camera’s are almost perfect 👌. But the new Bosch mic550 cameras and the other Bosch mic are terrible fitted less than a year and the paint is coming off and water ingress. Come on Bosch sort it out....
