Remember this song from childhood By any chance do you know/have any songs from the gospel girl group called, The Roses? One of the songs they sang was something like, "and Nanny, I hope you did accept the Lord, Sam Sharpe I hope you did accept the Lord...."

He was a tough young man to be able to make it through paratroopers

My family have always been Adventist and us as kids were never forced or indoctrinated. Aside from our love of God, it was the wonderful songs of praise that kept us in the Christian faith. Songs such as this. I'm 23 years old now, and I still come back to this gospel music rather than what we have out now. Sidenote, Adventists make the best gospel music in the Protestant sect. It tells an actual story with emotions rather than a repetitive regurgitation of basic lyrics like some other churches do. Still, may God keep us and bless us ❤
