What about toddlers that are close to two year's old? What kind of loose parts are safe for them? They tend to put everything in their mouth.

Diana, what field is your doctorate in? Hopefully not biology, after this nonsense. 1. T. rex didn't leave descendants. 2. Therefore it isn't a chicken's closest relative 3. A chicken's closest relative is the species it descended from; red jungle fowl, a living bird! 4. That collagen protein paper doesn't, in any way at all, lead to the conclusions you made

This is amazing. I worked with Nick Bertoni's Tinker's Workshop in Berkeley, CA for a time during early 2000s. This is a beautiful creation with promise of immense service human kind and other living things.

Yes I am still flying About Time. It was in storage for 9 years but I have it back in the air and really enjoying it. I often fly over to GVL so maybe we can meet up some time there.

They also appear to be taking advantage of the upward deflection of the breeze by the leading face of the waves by flying along the wave crest. As soon as they reach a section of wave that is breaking,they gain altitude to avoid the air turbulence the breaking wave creates. In the video this can be seen several times.

That's an incredible insight!! I never even considered that angle but it makes so much sense. I know this is a 2 year old comment lol, but do you know of any academic research done on the topic, or did you deduce it on your own? I'm working on a bird flight simulator so I like collecting papers to reference

I just found one of these at a flea market. I didn’t know what it is, but understood what it does and I had been looking for something like this after seeing a similar display at a museum. For $5, it was totally worth the gamble to see if it works and it does! For $20 new, it would still have been worth it.

While I personally enjoyed the experiments and readings they may be too advance for 3 year olds. The children would need a lot of assistance to do these experiments
@leslieallen9786 жыл бұрын
I really enjoyed that the teachers were allowed to go out and explore their out door surroundings. I feel that it was helpful that they were allowed to journel their findings. The hands on in door experiments showed how the teachers were able to to work together to create various buildings, bridges, cars,etc.
