I used to live in Calaveras County about 10 minutes away from this airfield and you knew that something was going on when you heard that unmistakable noise from the planes fly overhead.

Also, all I ever see you guys doing is this....^ taking video and pictures. What exactly is it you do? Structural protection engines I see working tirelessly. Heavy equipment operators as well. What do "hotshots" and cal fire engines do aside from drive around and take pics? Occasionally break out a saw and cut a few limbs. I've ran dozer on fire and the amount of wasted money paying people to do nothing is insane. Leave it to the dozers, air attack and Structural protection task forces. Get rid of these stupid forest service entities. Privatize every bit of it. The forest management. Oversight etc.
