>"Well, it started when I wanted to 'have fun'" You converted to the state religion, you did not "de-convert" at all. This is literally a video detailing your conversion story, and it can be summed up as "why doesn't God conform to 21st century humanism", "why didn't God lobotomise mankind so we can't sin", "how can God be real if I don't like Him" and "how can the bible be true if I reject every explanation I was given for it". Perhaps your judgement is already written and you have hardened your heart to stone, I hope not. There is no truth without ultimate truth, despite knowing of ultimate truth you reject that truth. Your ultimate goal was to find an excuse to not feel shame for sin and evildoing. Rather than cling to the mercy of Christ the redeemer, you thought embracing sin would save you from sin. I guess it's a very common human instinct, but that doesn't make it right. The price of sin is death, and the only currency that can be traded spiritually is blood. This is less so something everyone has just "agreed on", and is first and foremost an apparent truth. This is the way things are, the reasons why none but the creator can ultimately say. Only blood can pay for spiritual things, and Christ's death is what paid the price for all the world's sin. But because He was without sin, He is risen from the dead, and has defeated death through death. There is no greater love than that, to show mercy to a creation which does nothing but hate you. Love cannot be forced, that's slavery or obedience, or perhaps more accurately brainwashing and mind control. For someone to love someone or something they must do it of their own will. For those which reject this love, the redeeming sacrifice is meaningless. They will pass into eternal judgement on the final day, along with the devil and all of his kin and disciples. It's easy to think of hell as an eternal party, a gathering of the worst refuse of mankind all continually celebrating the worst excesses of creation. This is a lie people tell themselves to sleep at night. Eternal heat, eternal fire tearing at flesh and bone, unceasing agony for all eternity. A punishment fit for the devil and his kin yes, but something God would wish everyone to avoid. That's the entire point of Christ's redeeming sacrifice. But still, mankind hates Him who died for them. What can then be done? Cosmic justice must be delivered, the unrighteous cannot avoid a just punishment unless imputed righteousness is given. How can imputed righteousness be given to a man who hates even the one who died for his sake? Fearing hell so much you run into hell to avoid God, might legitimately be the most tragic thing I have ever heard. God help you, God have mercy on you, God bless you.

I'll never apologize for opposing globalist agenda and those who wish to erase all of us, remove our heritage, remove our tradition and replace with corporate garbage posited as "culture", and their aims to remove wisdom, to turn us into self destroying subservient weakling bug men consumers far removed from self sufficiency. I'm not some ignorant msm stereotype skinhead drunk hick who shops at Walmart who after some WWE tier political psyop event winds up sorry for being something they really weren't in the first place, i.e. i actually care about the wellbeing of my own folk. The idea of "hell" has imbedded in so much of Christianity, but it is NOT Biblical. The One who said "Father forgive them, they know not what they do" would not inflict ANY of His children with endless torment. I've heard this story so many times. Every person I've seen deconvert has also changed his moral code, and did not want to follow scripture. I suppose the deconstructionist friend of mine decided that porn was OK. I told him… If you accidentally stumbled across your daughter while watching porn, is it OK? He was silent. Speechless. And then, when I told him that his blasphemy will be judged in the next life, and there is still time to repent, he started to tear up. I hugged him and told him that I loved him, and he said… Love you too brother. Now he's rethinking the foolish decision of abandoning the God who loves him, and gave his life for him on the cross

Can relate 100%. I also had a pastor for a father (my father was a Southern Baptist pastor when I was young, we had our own little church etc, that changed but we always stayed active in the church). I like how you describe it, my wife was a Mormon from Utah and we both went through the same process where one day in our car we were talking about God (not something we were talking much about at that point) and I was like "Ohh yeah, I guess I'm an atheist", my wife agreed for herself too. As you described it was a slow transition. I also experienced that same peace once you realize you can drop the baggage. I also think the most surprising thing is a stronger moral core IMHO. Now i want to be good and do good things because I CHOSE to, not because some God told me to (and depending on your specific beliefs under threat of hell). In hindsight the idea that a Christian can claim moral superiority when they do good things primarily because God told them to vs owning their own choices and desires and sacrifices. Also never feel bad about calling yourself an atheist... people miss the most obvious literal definition a = not theist = believer in a god or gods So if you're NOT a theist you are (whether you think or not) an atheist by definition. It says nothing about anything else including whether you are open to or not open to things etc or what you believe about knowledge, etc. I also understand how you feel about reading the Bible now. It feels so obviously and transparently the same as every other ancient religion. I now find it very fascinating from that perspective though, trying to understand what the authors of the parts of the Bible believed and why and what the historical context was etc (watching people like Kipp Davis, Joshua Bowen, Dan McClellan, and various others).

If God doesn't exist, by what standard can you call God's plan morally twisted or wrong in the first place?
@TheRebelsAdvocate
@TheRebelsAdvocate Күн бұрын
@@Theology_Matters the complexity of what is right and wrong is not always clear or agreed upon by everyone. Man doesn't do so well when they can't answer a question precisely, so they sometimes make up the answer. Thus when they create their god, they create him to give us the moral code we use as a standard. Which is really just a convenient way for them to claim their own version of good and evil is given by the creator of the universe so obviously it rules above any other standard. And then people, probably yourself included, thinks without God, there is no standard. This simply isn't true. I might not have all the answers, and I won't pretend to either. However, I do know when something negatively affects someone else or causes pain and suffering. If you seriously cannot determine this level of right and wrong without a god to tell you, then I wouldn't want to be anywhere near you.

This video awoke a really old memory of mine. I went to Sunday school only twice, but I was made to sit in the hallway the 2nd time around because I was thinking too logically. They told some biblical story about a blind man and claimed blind people could not feed themselves since they could not see, and they'd hit their heads with the spoon if they tried. I said that didn't make any sense to my friend because of this and that, and it was like he had a huge realization over that. The adults did not like how I poked a hole in their precious fairy tale book so I was made to sit outside and wait.

@Dutch_Vander_Linde So you’re trying to tell me that so-called natural phenomenon produced the following: - Life - Consciousness - Intelligence - Morality - Personality - Emotion - Free will - Variety - Adaptability - Order - Symmetry - Continuity - Male and female - Beauty - Creativity - Design - DNA - Seasons - Gravity … just to name a few! ALL of the above are products of an intelligent mind!
@Dutch_Vander_Linde_
@Dutch_Vander_Linde_ 2 күн бұрын
@@JESUS--NEVER--tAPPED You still haven't proven how these are products of an intelligent mind. You can't just list words and say "it must be an intelligent mind!" You have to actually provide evidence. Science is able to explain each of these. You are scientifically illiterate. 1) Life - This is explained by the fields of abiogenesis and evolution. No intelligent design was observed in scientific inquiry through these fields. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for this. 2) Consciousness - Consciousness is in our brains alone, no soul has been demonstrated to exist. Neurology and Psychology show that we perceive the world through our brains and other organs alone. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for this. 3) Intelligence - Again, how can you link this to an intelligent designer? Our intelligence is evidenced to just be our brains. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for our intelligence. 4) Mortality - We die, how do we need an intelligent designer to explain how and why we die? Natural phenomenon cause the natural function of our body to cease. Study biology. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for this. 5) Personality - This is explained by psychology and sociology. Natural phenomenon in our brain perceiving reality forms our personality. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for this. 6) Emotion - This is explained by psychology, evolution and sociology. Natural phenomenon in our brain perceiving reality forms our emotions. We evolved emotions to survive our surroundings. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for this. 7) Free will - Happens in the brain, there is no evidence that we need some cosmic deity to make a choice. Heck, some philosophers argue that we don't have free will to boot. This is explained by psychology and sociology. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for this. 8) Variety - This is so vague. What do you mean variety? Do you meant the biodiversity of organisms on this earth? That is explainable by evolutionary biology. Besides, variation in any natural phenomenon doesnt require a supernatural deity. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for this. 9) Adaptability - I am going to assume you mean the adaptability of organisms in their environment. This is the basis of evolutionary science. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for this. 10) Order - We don't need a deity to explain order. You might reference the second law of thermodynamics which states that entropy in a system can only increase. However, Earth is constantly getting, and trapping, heat from the Sun. We get energy which can be used to create order. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for this. 11) Symmetry - Dude, how the hell are symmetrical objects proof for an entire God? Seriously. We create symmetrical objects. Nature can produce semi-symmetrical beings and objects too. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for this. 12) Continuity - Continuity of what? This is vague. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for this. 13) Male and Female - Male and Female sexual dimorphism is explained by evolution of life on earth. No God needed. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for this. 14) Beauty - This is subjective. Beauty is explained by our brains. We find things beautiful because evolutionarily and generally, beautiful things are good and useful for us. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for this. 15) Creativity - This is a part of the brain, we evolved to be creative. When I'm creative, I don't see God pulling the strings. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for this. 16) Design - Simple, there is none. We can explain life with science. You need to demonstrate that we are designed. Show me Gods blueprint (metaphorically, maybe physically). You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for this. 17) DNA - Deoxyribonucleic acid is a chemical compound that contains instructions to create proteins. The scientists that have dedicated their lives to discovering the secrets of DNA have found no God. You might say that DNA is a code and requires a coder, but this isnt true and requires evidence. Even if there was a coder, it was a shit one. The majority of Dna in the human genome is useless, look it up. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for this. 18) Seasons - This is explained by the axial tilt of the Earth. The axial tilt of the earth is 23.5 degrees. This causes different amounts of sunlight to reach different parts of the Earth, at different times of the year. More or less sunlight causes colder or warmer seasons. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for this. 19) Gravity - Gravity is just a force that causes attraction between bodies of mass. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for this. Final point, you cant just list words and attribute them to God just because you couldn't fathom any other explanation. That's an argument from personal incredulity; a logical fallacy. You need to provide evidence that an intelligent designer is required for literally ANY of what you listed.

I was raised liberal Methodist, which is basically secular humanism with bread and grape juice. That didn't do much for me, and I thought my only other options in "Christianity" were Westboro Baptist and Roman Catholicism, so I spent the next 20 years exploring Hinduism, Yoga, Buddhism, Sikhism, Shamanism, and Sufism. All that New Age stuff led me to sheer hedonism, and I felt that I was spiritually dead. Then I discovered that although Jesus Christ was the stone that this builder refused, He would always be the head Cornerstone. Then I spent a little time in evangelical mega churches, studying the Bible and trying to pray and repent...something important was still missing though. It's the Orthodox Church, brother. You're not going to find the Truth outside of the Church. The Church is where Christ is enthroned, and where the Father is worshipped in Spirit and Truth. Protestantism has led you to the darkness of unbelief, but Christ is still knocking on the door of your heart. In His Light, you shall see Light. There are answers to your questions in the Orthodox Church. May you find your way home.

How is it so common that when someone leaves the belief of a God or religion, where the morals are grounded, they immediately go nuts and join one of the most wicked movements on earth. The side that supports murder, degeneracy, rampant adultery and fornication. Whether a God exists or not, i will keep following these rules hes set. Seems like it keeps the people who follow it on a leash, which keeps people in order. Now, when you said "we dont know where life begins". thats bullshit, we KNOW scientifically where life begins. It begins at conception. Secondly, youre pro choice up until birth? Youre a monster. You are not a good person, despite the vibes you want to give. Youre argument "that its a womens choice" is such a terrible argument, because now you need to qualify other horrendous actions, or else youre a hypocrite. "slavers should be allowed to slave" or "we should allow pedophilia" because its their choice. "no one should be forced to create life". then how about you dont fucking do the action that causes you to murder a human then. Seems like your liberal group doesn't give af, and they want to have sex as much as they can, like animals. We can fight abortion, but we shouldn't be responsible for the actions of the murderer. Baby murderers should be faced with capitol punishment. "if men gave birth, abortion would be legal". Thats such a fallacious statement, and one based off ZERO evidence. Insane. "if you have no lived, there is nothing to be taken away from you" so by your logic, humans like hellen keller, or even others that were not considered even human in the past, by their skin color, or group affiliation (jews), it would be ok to just murder them all. Holy shit lmao. Miscarriages aren't abortions, its a natural process not intervened in by humans. How do you even compare the two..... "its gonna suffer" so imma take its rights away and kill it. good argument man! Women in danger, therefore abortion for all should be legalized. You do know that less than 2 percent of that are the cases your advocating for. I watched your entire video, because i was hoping for a gotcha at the end. Great to see how every atheist that left religion, ends up supporting the worst movements ever.

Yeah it's a BS story. Who was even there to hear their god say "Let there be light..." was it Tucker Carlson? Who was it? Has anybody seen a talking snake yet? Where are these miracles. What does a magic apple taste like? It's almost like there were a bunch of legends...and some folks in the hot sun of the hot deserts forgot to wear something on their heads, got their brains a bit baked, and started coming up with wild stories. The flood story is a fan fiction of Gilgamesh which is fan fiction of something else.... Archeology indicates mud brick buildings from well before the supposed flood, according to the timelines... It is almost like the Priest class will say anything to justify its own existence and get tax free housing, free food, virgins, and reverence from a gullable population. And it is almost like morality exists without having some sky wizard or underground demons to scare people. Like...stone age villages having laws against murder because that kind of thing is bad for the village and family members of the victims tend to not like it and want revenge. I've never been a Christian, or a member of any religion. I've TRIED. But I just could never once believe the shit they were trying to push on me. I tried to make-believe but my brain just rejected all of the nonsense. It is so obviously made up and sheer fantasy that I couldn't accept any of it. It seemed like a bunch of grown assed adults were playing a fairytale and pushing a narrative. Why on earth would this random world have such a narrative? Just looking at your average family or average neighborhood and seeing how, well, random people behave...should tell anybody that there aren't "the chosen people" and then the rest. If you look at the entire narrative, and remove all of these supposed miracles, what is left is a bunch of fan fiction of a people writing about themselves and you have a bunch of people trying to scare or threaten people into their churches, love bombing them at first, and then trying to scare them if they leave, letting them know they will be outcasts and pariahs for leaving. But no magic happening anywhere. Just a conspiracy to keep reaffirming the authority of priests. We have a word for the beiliefs that are unsubstantiated: Superstition. We have a name for the behavior of churches and other things (especially small branches): Cults. Religions are just big cults whose populations have reached the size of countries. But they are still cults and are mostly there for political reasons, the big one is enslavement.

In the Bible Belt, the word ‘agnostic’ does mean atheist. That one word is not in their vocabulary, I have found, also.

*For Christians, that can't understand why atheists don't believe in their God* _(some perspective)_ Just as you are not convinced of the _super natural God claims,_ that Muslims or Hindu's make about their religions, we feel that exact same way, about the miraculous claims of Christianity. _(unconvinced)_

*God is the clay & humanity, the sculptor.* More like, _made in our image._ As evidenced by the countless religions, that humanity has believed in throughout history, and the thousands of versions/denominations of Christianity that disagree on almost everything in the Bible.
