Everything happens by chance. The writing and the cast come together and you have a gift. Everybody Loves Raymond, M*A*S*H, All in the Family, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Cheers, and Seinfeld all had that for me and they are my favorites.

I love this ole song, my best friend Jimmy Stazer said Dave listen to this song, I did and fell in love with it!! That was back in the 70’s I don’t know if I spelled his last name right. I’ll have to ask Him when I wake up that bright day.

This was an amazing sitcom. Brilliant writing is what's missing in today's boring sitcoms. I don't think there was one episode where I didn't LOL. To the writers, cast, and all others, thanks for nine seasons of belly laughs. And now I'll go binge for the fourth time.

"I've been down a lonely road so far from home. Nothing left to hold on to. I made some plans but they fell through. Now there's nothing left for me." I really appreciate this song because I have lived it. After a career in the U.S. Army and a divorce ended a 28 year marriage ended because of my alcohol abuse, I was on a 'lonely road." In the end, I managed to pull through. I'm 70 now. Every time I hear this song I think of those aimless years. Mel Street didn't pull through and ended it all in 1978. Like Elvis he's been gone longer than he was alive, but his memory lives on in his heartfelt songs.

I watch this show on reruns and I watched it when it was on the air. This was the last great comedy sitcom. I also watched Frasier, which I still watch on reruns, but this family stole my heart. Watching this show helped me pull through some difficult times in my life! Thanks Ray 💕💕

It's funny how Americans sing in British accents and Britons sing with American accents. Could this be the "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" of the 2000s? Thanks for posting anyway.
