And when you go in food Bank to ask for some food they just start talking to you in Spanish. they are rude mean people to the indigenous people..

I am Ojibwe from Minnesota , my Reservation was very poor at one time , we have opened up businesses and the people who want to be successful are and the people who are suffering with Generational Trauma seem to suffer the worst . I feel bad for the people in this video because it doesn't seem like they have Natural Resources to tap into there , I imagine that makes it a harsh place to live . I hope that the Tribal Leaders there can figure something out to get the income needed for the resources to help the people .

Too bad the narrator doesn't know that our native people live in the marshland which along the coast is a saltwater tidal grassland. The Bayou Lands encompass swamp which is a freshwater flooded forest, the tall grass prairies and marshland. I don't mean to be overly critical, because this documentary is well done, but not accurately written. All three tribes she mentions are Houma and Choctaw tribe and are subsidiaries of the Houma nation. I am Catahoula Tribe, and I don't want federal recognition, because I don't recognize this unconstitutional federal corporate government, which is not 'we the people', who are the lawful government authority. The feds are a corporation identified as US Inc!

being Native American is no longer about appearance, race or color. As long as you are member of a federally recognized tribe by the US government, you are Native American. You can still be Native American if you have white skin, blue eyes, blonde hair or European features. You can still be Native American if you have afro hair, black skin and west African features.
