I'll bet "Too millennial" is going to come up more than once in future media criticisms. I am 12 kinds of "here for it (I might even learn a thing or two about how *not* to write like that).

Heavens! That's a shame. In a bare minimum amount of fairness to the author, I can vouch for the fact if an author has made money for the publisher in the past, the publisher will not always read the new manuscript or at least certainly not with an overly-critical eye. Out of curiosity, is there an "Edited by..." credit? I've known some editors that do a job as part of their business but ask specifically not to be credited 'cause they'd rather their name not be associated with a questionable book or author.

Richard Laymon is always hit or miss for me! He always writes about boobs, rumps, the male gaze, sometimes his stories are engaging enough and sometimes trash. My favorite is Midnight's Lair. This book does sound interesting.

Now as I gain experience with Davinci Resolve it's absolutely remarkable how everything corresponds to my skill curve. You can not whiff on the editing. *You are out there competing with professional editors people hire*

Didn’t Tegan Leave on her own terms, Ace Sadly We didn’t see what happened between her and the Doctor, But Tegan Left and ran away from the Doctor, OF COURSE the Doctor didn’t visit her, they probably felt horrible and didn’t wanna be a burden. The way she scoffed at the Doctor it’s abit pushed for what happened in the OG series

They actually did a HUGE disservice to the trans community and rose's character by making her completely one dimensional that dimension being nothing but sterotypes of trans people. That they're obssesed with pronouns, that their entire identity is being trans. Ask yourself, what do you know about the character rose? They didn't give us a single shred of who she is as a person, what she dreams about, they briefly showed her hobby but tied that into being trans too. Even when she saved Donna and Earth, it was entirely based on her being "non binary," which she isn't shes trans. Even if she was non binary it was the laziest defeat of an alien villian doctor eho has ever done. Trans people are just people with hopes and dreams and personalities of their own. This protrays all trans people as tortured by the world, having their gender define their identity. Imo all 4 parts absolutely screwed tenant, tate, and rose by taking a trans soapbox and screaming from it all 4 eps.

This is a perfect example of why the writing for Jodie was awful, and it didn't help that she had one setting for the doctor, which is bubly and quirky. No doubt that's important for bring the doctor, but so is his seriousness, care for former companions, explaining how he hates seeing the people age, how he hates endings or just deflecting and introducing them all before it got awkward

I have no issue with the Doctor kissing a bloke (Parting of the Ways) but I will still agree that this current generation of writers are hopeless. Although in saying that this entire season is mostly written by an out-of-touch 60 year old white guy so I can't pile on too much onto the "tumblr audience" (they all moved to twitter anyway).

The Cybermen wore always something I found to be Horrifying. Big Finnish wore the ones to really Lean in to it back in 2003 with Spear Parts. As someone who has Family and loves them dearly It's the thought of them being Converted, Twisted by a Dark Science and there being Nothing I can do to help them. It's the same as Romero" Zombie movie "Dawn of the Dead" A lot of people think it's just a Zombie movie but Really look at what is happening. Everything that everyone is doing is Hopeless! From the Military too the Red Necks. No matter What they do they'll all be killed in a matter of Time. With the Cybermen, It's the fact that they can't see past their own Logic, They want to help, They can only help by making us lake them. "Shame the 70s and 80s ran off with the hole "Destroy Earth" thing... There's a moment in the story "Spear Parts" that I don't want to spoil as it's so Damn Good of a moment.(It would be a talking point here)
