Good episode 👍 I beat your moment of numbness yesterday, I had a feeling I would regret trying to goat into a ravine near the broken railway bridge, it was looking good, I then dropped to the next ledge, it was no more than one foot but the game didn't like me doing that and I died. Managed 542 days. I really didn't mind, pretty sure the game went buggy, I spent 12 days mapping Ash canyon and didn't see a single wolf, I could hear them and that was all, Dave could have walked about with his hands in his pockets. Tomorrow I will start a new game and forget I don't have cooking 5 and will look forwards to food poisoning 😉

I advise you to keep notes on a piece of paper. Do not give up. The very first time I played it, an odd 20 years ago, it took me weeks and that was point and click, so less options as in here. The journal Atrus gave you explains your goal. He is not a stranger, you 'sort of' rescued him from the island of Myst in Myst 1. If you have played that you know he is Atrus.

I am playing Riven. It is !*immensly*! rewarding, but yes, I find it beyond my abilities. Just like the originaly Myst, which I managed to play all the way through, but only with a lot of hints and tips from those with much better than I. I have reached a point in Riven where journaling is absolutely necessary to solve, and not just use a cheat solution. But I persevere. Observation of absolutely everything, and linking observations at different points is key. I am close to the finale.

The picture on the small table at Arthur's tent is of his mother, the small flower is his mom's favorite flower, you can find that out if you play a game of dominos by chance with Marybeth between the right missions. The other picture is of Mary, Arthur's "love interest". The 3 on the wagon are of Dutch, Hosea, Arthur, and Copper (Arthur's Dog) when they were young. Also Arthurs Dad, if you notice it's the same hat you like to wear in your episodes. The books you can pick up and collect. And the News Paper Clipping was from before Blackwater. There's nothing quite like the feeling of guilt when you accidentally punch your horse!! I'm sure Geoff understands that the control mapping is quite complex on RDR2, just feed him and give him a brush, and you'll feel better :)

Good one as per norm 👍 Today is a sad day for Dave, got beaten up by the same bear twice (forgot to load a flare into the gun) and then was attacked by a wolf and died horribly (480 days) I did use the Cheat Death option, that sure sucks, you kinda lose everything. But you are still alive (barel) only have to last 270 hrs to recover my health. I said I would never use Cheat Death but I really need to hit 500 days. P.S Dave and myself are still trying to stay alive, doctor now says I have 2 tumour cancers, I thought 1 was bad enough. Funny old life init
