@@andrewmaurice8634 Hi Andrew, thanks for watching. Glad to hear the lesson helped. I would love to do lessons like that here on KZfaq, but unfortunately any play throughs usually mean a KZfaq copyright strike (if you get 3 you get banned!) or that the video gets demonitised. So generally I tend not to do them. Really sorry about that, wish I could! All the best with this one. Cheers Simon p.s. you can grab the chart at www.patreon.com/posts/95205870

Two different ways to play that chord. One thing to consider is that the " wrong" first option has a d instead of the open b string. Still a g chord but it's a different voicing. Also consider that any combination of the notes g, b, and d with the g as the root note will be a g chord so there are quite a few correct voicings
@SimonMorelguitar11 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching Josh. Absolutely right. My point here though is the alternate fingering allows lots of cool and easy tricks. And it makes G, C, F changes really easy too. Cheers, Simon

I’m looking at a THR10II, have you tried one with acoustic electric?
@SimonMorelguitar17 күн бұрын
Hi mate, thanks for watching. I haven't plugged an acoustic in, but can I ask why you need to plug the acoustic in? If you're doing gigs, you can plug straight into the pa at the venue. If you want to amplify the acoustic guitar, I would suggest considering a specialist acoustic amp. If you want the acoustic to sound "like an electric", you're better off buying an electric guitar. Hope that helps! Cheers Simon
@michaelk486515 күн бұрын
@@SimonMorelguitar thank you Simon, I’m not a public player, just play for myself, I have a cheap electric and amp which I like playing, but prefer the sound of my acoustic and looking to move to another Maton with a pick up for a different experience and opportunity to experiment a bit more, been watching plenty of reviews and leaning towards the Positive Grid Spark 40 as it has the app and could use it for both my electric and acoustic.
