I drove one for 18 years. Abused the hell out of it to. The good is that the engine can be run ragged and still holds up. It is a good car to play around with on the track, but that is about it. It is a heck of a car to mod. GM cut corners on everything besides the engine. The seats have no grip and fall apart. The interior doesn't hold up. Everything is cheaply made on the inside. If you put on a cold air intake and mod the pulley size then your supercharger will wear out quicker. The Teflon on the blades will start to break down once you get close to 100k-150k depending on how your drive it. Then it won't hold much boost. So if you decide to put a lot of miles on the Supercharger then expect to have to rebuilt it sooner than later. The suspension sucks. The car is pretty clunky to drive. You will want to replace it all and the brakes suck. The rotors tend to get very hot and warp eventually. Wheel hop is terrible and you need to mod the traction if put more HP into it. You will bust the crap out of your front suspension without some mods to reduce wheel hop. So ultimately the only thing that is cool is that it is a Supercharged 4 banger. Everything else about the car is not that great. After 200k on mine it will cost so much to fix everything that I just got rid of it. People drive these things into the ground and they are pretty expensive to get back to good operation once they are warn out. You can take that money and buy a naturally aspired 4 banger that gets more HP at this point.

In the rear storage box there is another rubber tab to pull and itll drop a small hatch which holds the tool box , most likely its in there . Open it and look closely .

Please go into the EVAP system issues you mentioned. I am currently chasing down an evap issue on my 07ss

I have heard alot of the front drive LS cars the transmissions couldnt take the abuse from the V8.

Raise truck with floor jack, just body. Raise so that wheels are contacting ground but body goes up. Then adjust screws then let body down measure to you get desired stance

In the winter they usually add ethanol also I would find vp octane booster oreillys has it works great if not find a hospital and get fuel at nearest station usually doctors nurses drive 91 octane it will be fresh

The FWD is the deal breaker for me. If i was looking for a car comparable, i would go with the mid 2000's GTO or G8. And besides the GTO was available in a manual. Whats more fun than that?

I have a '07 MCSS. I love that car. Only thing I've had to rebuild the trans and the engine. That dumb Active Fuel Management trashed a lifter. But since those 2 jobs she's been running like a champ.

Wait, at around 5:00 minutes you say you haven’t had it tuned. How could it be making over 100 hp more than stock without telling the ECU there are parts capable of doing that? Just bolting on parts without telling the engine what’s been changed is not conducive to power gains. I’ve always had a soft spot for the Grand Prix version of these cars and I’d love to know more about this particular build.
