I'm 6 feet tall and don't need the running boards but the body seem looks bad 2016 gmc canyon cclb. Been trying to find tube style step that mounts to the frame for better protection. Thanks for the info, I'll keep looking around.

Your videos and info on these covers are second to none ! If I was in Florida, Id be there to get installed as well. Just bought a '24 Tacoma short bed. I'm torn between this and the Retrax. Have there been any complaints of the Retrax making noise or rattling at highway speeds ? Also, do you stock this and Retrax PRO XR for the '24 Tacoma ?

What's going on Chris? Nice video. I didn't get it from you, since I'm up in Tampa, but that cover didn't work out for me. It was great for a few years but unfortunately the Florida heat caused the vinyl to separate from the top surface on mine. Mine also had a strip of fabric on the underside instead of the plastic. I think they still make that version if I'm not mistaken. The underside fabric separated as well. I tried regluing it several times to no avail. Without the fabric, the linked sections would pinch my hand while closing it, kinda like a lobster tail 😊. Mine was an early version so hopefully they took care of some of the issues. If I kept it garaged it would probably have lasted way longer.

That is a different cover, not the one in video .You purchased the Bak Revolver X2 ( made totally different) which I don't recommend because of the reasons you just mention. The store you bought it from should told not to buy that one. I don't allow my staff to sell that X2 cover any more. Also if you purchase a Revolver from us, we double the warranty. So you wound be getting a brand new cover. By way the way, we have many customers make the drive to us. It is worth it .

@@CHAutoAccessoriesMargate Unfortunately I got the x2 in 2017, before the x4 was available... Which I think was 2018 if I'm not mistaken. I'm not sure if I even knew you were selling them at the time. I was specifically looking for that cover. I originally had the Bak Flip in 2014 but the vinyl separated on that as well after a few years. Bak did offer me a reduced price on a complete new one since it was out of warranty but it was taking too long and I was concerned I'd be in the same boat eventually. I just ended up buying a white ARE hard tonneau cover. I do like the x4 design though. It probably alleviates most of the issues I had with the x2.

They don’t last long. In bright mode, one half (the BRO side) of them flicker and are dim with the Bronco emblem. They looked great when they worked. The product is less than one year old. A lot of money for less than a year for reliability.

Do you know where I can get the smaller black tube and the little hose adapters? Bakflip changed the hose back to the original corrugated style. I don’t want to drill out my bed for the larger holes. Thanks.

Thanks for the video. I installed mine and noticed there's more space on the bedrail towards the cab then there is towards the tailgate. I thought I did something wrong even though I measured it. I guess the bed is a little bit wider towards the cab.
