he didn't play the full album when this came out - only 2 new songs. His team is saying it should come out by mid 2024 so we'll just have to see.

For me, this is too generic a sound in todays climate...in fact if anything, it's very dated. I've bought pretty much everything Ryan has released, from way back hustling for white labels and remix 12'' records, through to his cd and digital self releases, but I just am not feeling this. I know artists change and grow as they get older, but I guess I just miss the spontaneous funky creations Ryan built his fanbase on. I just bought Run It Back on itunes to carry on my support, but I hope there's more from Ryan soon.

You def hit it on the head. Seems like the live version allows his creativity to come in a lot more than the official release, as if he had this song in the vault instead of really bringing the great synth leads that he's known to create. Lets continue to support his return BACK to just R&B records and hopefully his upcoming album delivers much more than this.

Yeh completely agree. Just listened to whole album and hate saying this but its complete trash. The tempo is lame, dated and just has zero impact like albums before. I was actually mind blown how far it is from previous album. Run it back is sooooo bad. Its like a nursery rhyme that lacks his usual depth in sound sonics and its wayyyy to repetitive. Musically i have no idea how he went so backwards.

@@LOWKEYOfficial1 I like Top Notch, All the ways and This love thing.... i only bought those three. The first time i've not bought a full album from Ryan. I just wasn't feeling any of the other tracks. I don't know if it's just because I've got older...or whether it's because Ryan has. Tastes change I guess. Run it back is terrible in my opinion, but that's it, just my opinion. Other people like it. I just feel the whole album is lacking the raw genius of earlier Ryan. Nothing here stands out and the production sounds like it could be anyone today, such is the level we're at. Just serves to remind us just how far ahead of the time Ryan was back in the early 2k's.

He hasn't been releasing music because he is trying to get into the tech/investment industry. If he releases music it would make more royalties that would go towards the lawsuit and it would have been over with already.

I remember when I rode this when I went to Universal Studios Hollywood in 2007 with my parents. I screamed the entire time I was on it, when it got to the dinosaur, I exclaimed, "WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!" But hey, that was the thrill of riding it.

this was my favorite ride. Sat in the Simpsons and it sucked. even though the movements are the same the story is lame and the whole Simpsons show is lame compare to the BTF Trilogy. Biff Marty and the Doc are timeless.
