Let's not cosign bs with a bs excuse. The show was bad writing all around, including plot points, character arcs, the entire pace of the show, and the like. This is just one nitpick among many... You'd think with all of the Legends content, Disney wouldn't have to write anything "new," but never put it past them to ruin a good thing with contrived woke narratives. "For the fans" slipped their minds, that's for sure.

I don’t see why people have issue with this. When Luke Skywalker wielded one, it was some badass shit. I’m looking forward to seeing the Lightwhip in live action.

Great reaction. I will be looking forward to your Deadpool reaction for 1 & 2 ... question: Are you also going to be doing "Once upon a Deadpool" as well ? It's a pg-13 version of Deapool 2 with extended shots and scenes with Fred Savage being held hostage while DP tells him the story of Deadpool 2 in a Princess Bride style.

I am not one to comment but felt compelled from listening to the final 3 minutes. Found your video as there is much rings of power circulating and have also seen a few of your videos prior. Also, you seem a very passionate fan, which is great! Those not enthused by long winded comments perhaps pass on mine. Apologies. A few disclaimers beforehand: I personally am not a fan of the show, I have only thus far watched episodes 1 and 2 of the first season (my knowledge of the rest of the season is from trusted friends, not online people, who have told me the show’s outcome) and I have read near all of Tolkiens works regarding the shows time period (potentially missing out on a few obscure publications of notes and such. Who knows), and I write not knowing if you have read Tolkiens work. Regarding the fans opinions, I believe there to be a difference between the fans. My personal experience has shown that the only ones I have met who like the show have not read his work, and none that have read it have liked the show. Not to say one can’t love both, but for a literature fan, this show is sooooo far from what Tolkien actually wrote it is nearly unrecognizable to me. The only thing in the first two episodes that had me knowing it was connected was the mention of the destruction of the tree’s (slightly inaccurate still) in the first 5 minutes and the names of the characters. That is where much displeasure comes from I believe, and so criticisms of the show, though perhaps not expressed tactfully, I believe are justified. When something is so altered, fans view that in itself as a level of disrespect. It implies an ability to improve upon the source material better (key word is “Implies”). This, as well as the fact that less than 40% of viewers finished watching has me believing that the majority of Tolkien fans don’t like the show. Tolkien fans are not a small group, his work being around since before WW2. For example I will share my greatest point of contention with the show: The disservice shown to the character Galadriel. There was the opportunity to show a breathtaking, really strong female character that Tolkien created. One of the oldest, wisest and most powerful remaining elves in middle earth. One of the few still around middle earth who was born in Valinor during the Years of the Trees. She was married to Celeborn and had a child. Instead, amazon has presented a female lead not tied down by the burden of a husband and child, who must surpass these men elves (all of whom she is in fact older than) seeking to diminish her and then have romantic chemistry with Sauron, when in fact she was one of the few elves to never actually trust Annatar (disguised Sauron) and had nothing to do with him. I do not buy the need to show a Galadriel that had to experience hardships to become the one depicted in Peter Jackson’s LOTR. She was nearly 4000 years old by this time and already lived through a great many hardships prior. She did not need a long sword to be a strong female. I quite appreciate her depiction in the third hobbit entry during the white councils purging of Dol Guldur. It sadden’s me that people miss seeing a truly great character. The show runners were quoted at the beginning of this venture saying “It felt only natural to us that an adaptation of Tolkien’s work would reflect what the world actually looks like.” The issue is that Tolkiens work was not meant to “look” like our world now, whatever that means, a world over 50 years past his death. Regardless of your opinion of to what Tolkien dedicates his writing to (a point of contention, based off of interpretation of a letter he wrote), choosing to present your own world rather than what Tolkien himself put into his work will not endear fans of his literature to the show, and they should not be surprised and then rebuked for speaking about it. This mentality causes me to mistrust those behind these adaptations of my favourite writings. There were also some really poor treatment of fans, with real questions, comments and opinions, from cast and producers that did not sit well with me. Hopefully this may help understanding for those not sure why people don’t like the show. If you’re a fan, that is great. I personally only hope that those who watch the show will then turn to the books, because there is the most breathtaking, heartbreaking, dark, pain filled, yet hope giving world written within Tolkiens pages that they are missing out on and not being properly shown by amazon’s production. Blessings as you look forward to season 2 come August.

TECHNICALLY, you should watch them in the following order: "Deadpool", "Logan", then "Deadpool II". But as long as long as you're not watching "Deadpool II" before this one, it's cool. :)

If you like these fan edits that are made, you should check out SWFT. He's another creator that does similar and is in my opinion the best by far. He's made one on the Clones that is top tier to me, as well as amazing ones on the Empire, Rebellion, Fall of the Republic, and many others. This video seems to have done very well, so I imagine reacting to some of his videos will do similar, and will bring some attention to him in the process

I have read Dune about six times since 1976. I prefer this version over the 2021/24 version even though a few of the casting choices in the new films are better. I do not mind the voiceovers because they are in the spirit of the book. Lynch managed to squeeze in a number of important parts of the book that the newer films left out. I wish Lynch had been allowed to make the film in two halves, about 135-minutes each, that would have run concurrently so one could see the film over two consecutive nights.

Just think about this, I forgot this message of “my father is my hero” kind of thing in the movie and the fact that Logan did not save crowds of people from a city like any MCU films like The Avengers would do,, but he saved a group of children in a forest. Woman, now I am feeling deeper for this movie than I ever was seven years ago. And Deadpool 3 is coming soon featuring Hugh Jackman as classic yellow spandex Wolverine. Let's hope that not only the third movie tries to be better than the first two but surely for Wolverine fans, it will dry our tears after finishing watching Logan and that at least it ends up less tragic and more funny I imagine.

Throughout the movie, Logan is driven by the need to protect and save Laura and the other children. In his final moments, Laura tearfully acknowledges Logan as her father, signifying the deep emotional bond they’ve formed. Logan’s death is a culmination of his journey to redemption. By sacrificing himself to ensure the children’s safety, Logan effectively saves them and, in doing so, finds a sense of peace and closure for himself. Laura’s words and actions at the end of the film reflect the realization that Logan has already succeeded in saving her by being the protector and father figure she needed. This mirrors the idea that Logan’s redemption and heroism have already been achieved through his actions and the impact he’s had on Laura’s life.

The movie does such a great job of showing us how helpless it can be sometimes when you grow old and you cant do the things now that you once used to do so effortlessly.
