That's not true though. 🙂 He's even been arrested for being drunk and hopping on a policeman's motorcycle and going vroom vroom. The original quote was that he rarely ever drank and we the fans made it into that he never drank. Only near the end of his life he said he doesn't drink at all anymore. Up to that point I saw in an interview he said in his personal life's social situations he would have 1 or 2 drinks so as not to be rude. He said he got really drunk about half dozen times. Once on a Russian navy ship. He says most of this in a Huffington Post interview.
