How does it hold up on really windy days? How much cooler does it make the rv?

I'm sure it makes an excellent sail. That's a catastrophe waiting to happen. I bought 2 shade cloths to spread out over my motorhome but haven't done it yet. But there is no arch support. It will just lay flat on the roof. It has grommets every 2' around the entire cloth so I will be attaching cordage to secure it all along the perimeter. I don't see in this video that they plan to secure the edges like that. It will not work for long.

I'm working on a better arch support n stronger n easy. N doing 3 separate cover. N cut cost to $350 for a 36ft x 8ft . I'm understanding there is around $900.
