Tried USB instead of the 12v input, but made no difference. Contacted Renogy support and they are replacing the unit. I find their Support guys to be very helpful. I have put a few of these in motorhomes using the Zigbee switches and sensors for automation. There's nothing much else like it out there, so I hope this is a rare occurance.

I have one that was getting very hot almost to hot to touch 75c with a temp gun on the screen and back plastic. This was replaced by renogy and the replacement out of the box is showing 65c reading and still very hot. Interested to know if any one else has had this issue or if it’s normal. Both screens function fine but just very hot.

I’m not getting any noticable heat in mine. I do have the screen set to turn off after a few minutes. I’d expect a little heat if it was on all the time but nothing like the heat you are experiencing.

@@alex04081966 could I ask what your ambient temp is? My temp is about 36c. I am now on my third unit replaced under warranty. I keep asking if the heat is normal and the keep sending me a new unit that gets just as hot. I have the screen set to of after 30 seconds so that not the issue. The heat seems to be coming from the area we’re the processing chip is. There is no heat sink or any cooling for it.

I have one of these to fit - the previous owner fitted some sort of kit car heater (presumably to replace a broken VX220 one). Was it a difficult job? It looks rather cramped in there!

@@STYLES17117 I just went and baught a smart shunt for Bluetooth and left the screen plugged into the renogy. So I have a display and the victron Bluetooth for more detail. Worked out best.

Mine got stuck. It has a broken plastic slider stuck on the rails. I only wish we could have aftermarket hardtops for this car.

Just a tip. That's not how you use a sanding block. You sand diagonally to ensure you don't dig grooves into what you're sanding. If you sand in a straight line you'll have a ton of wiggles to sand out.

Tip: When you're not on the bike and ready to ride, hold a brake BEFORE you try to test the headlight. That way if you accidentally press the wrong button the bike won't take off on you in "push-assist" mode.

Hello I've just got virtually the same bike as you, I've got the engwe 400 folding bike , I can see the bike is virtually the same as yours, just different colors. I've just assembled my bike and not sure if I have a problem with it, when I ride and go over bumps I'm getting a noise from either the suspension or the head gear, like a knocking as if something Isn't tight enough with the head gear or the forks.. wondered if you ride yours over bumps if you get any noise from the handlebars, fork area or if its you get no noise please ?

Tape a little Velcro on one side of the battery case (not the terminal end) it stops the rattling.

Hello Guys, I got the same model as SameBike LO26. Can anyone assist me which tyre tube can be a perfect fit for the tyre? Mine is punctured and can't find right fit as it got a long Schrader valve.
