You know Starbucks in McLean Virginia the downtown Old Dominion drive the service is very nasty unfriendly the place is very dirty and they don't keep it clean even outside and the employees they ever attitude because the corporation don't treat good employees so they treat the same way customers they're better places there's a new coffee shop elegant beautiful dress open up why we have to support the McLane community this huge corporation which is selling the worst coffee ever GMO zeros too fast solo quality coffee I just talked to my colleague he said Switzerland train barista one of the famous in the world he told me Starbucks in general coffee is one of the worst and now they trying to push to our young kids and lots of sugar so the new drinks are 1500 calories stay away from nasty McLean Starbucks and this is international food and wine expert I'm talking about McLean Virginia next to Washington DC

I never considered we would not be coming back. 😢 I am SO homesick - I will never get over that. SS was the BEST place to grow up - it had everything and then some. For everyone fortunate enough to live there - how I envy you! ❤

I would say it depends on where your job is located. Some areas of Arlington it can take up to an hour to ride the bus to the nearest Metro then another 45 mins to ride into downtown. Some areas, unless you live right off the orange line.

My father and mother lived in Bethesda when they were going to Georgetown law in fact this where I'm going to raise my children.

I was in US in 2011 and we used to go to Tysons Corner for shopping. I will be visiting US again in 2025 after such a long time and this video brought back some really good memories. Can’t wait for 2025!

I grew up in the area, and I do miss it. Interesting, I still say "ROWT" 7 (not root). That's how the locals say it.

Used to be nice, but very few people there are local anymore. Mostly NE transplants and DC city workers.

It’s a reserved area actually only certain people are supposed to live in this area it’s really a prophetic community where my real relatives in Hollywood were supposed to live only related to me through my father and husband. and through my birth mother only. Some of it is in Joseph Smith’s will about who was going to create it and which surname families could actually live here .

Love the State of Maryland. I lived in Ellicott City and I would drive to Silver Spring to eat at the various restaurants there. I would also catch the Subway to go to Washington, DC. You cannot go wrong living in Maryland or visiting Maryland. 😊

Given my salary, do you think living in Arlington is feasible, particularly with or without owning a car with a one-bedroom/studio? This is surreal to watch haha, I grew up in Potomac near the intersection of Falls and River. All these streets and this trip was a blast from the past, cool to see my old stomping grounds. I found myself commentating the video haha "oh yeah if you turn left there that's where my friend Zac lived, go right and down the road 5 minutes I went to high school there, oh yeah we played basketball at the PCC" etc
