Thank you for the transparency on how ideas really are created. So much is from collaboration or inspiration from others vs this "ideal" of the "flash of genius". Thank you for letting us know we have things to offer even if its taking an idea and making it our own. Love these episodes.

I forgot to mention. The Dissertation ( no not the phD paper), was meant to be only released in the province of Ontario. Because of this bottle, other province want their own releases too. Last month when my friend from Singapore was at Vancouver for a conference, I asked him " bro, buying any whisky(ies) at Vancouver?" He said " nah" (note: he's a scotch and Japanese whisky collector). I got on the phone with him and suggested what to get. In the end, he got the Alberta Premium Cask Strength. I told him it is extremely hard to get it outside of Canada and forget about seeing a drop in singapore. In conclusion, you correct. Most of Canada's good stuff don't get out of the border. Even if it does, it cost quite alot.

Teerenpeli Brewery & Distillery is located in my hometown Lahti. The company started as a brewery in the 90’s. Their current product line includes beer, cider, gin and of course, whisky. IMO their range of whiskies is pretty damn good! Cheers!

Ive got an old unopened bottle of ballentines scotch from the 1950s. I had two, but drank one. Very smooth. But is the remaining bottle worth selling, if so where.

My father was raised 6.5 miles due north of this distillery. Just a few days prior to an anniversary of his passing I went on line after a long cribbage-whisky session with a neighbor. I ordered the Roknar and the Bodalen (bourbon) just before midnight on a Saturday. The bottles were on my step the following Tuesday morning. I drinks these only on special occasions associated with my father and his 25+ years USAF. I, too wish I could get my hands on some of these varietals.

I opened that bottle from 1958 and it’s pretty good, I likes it. Now I have to try a new bottle and compare.
