Good job. I tried pulling one with a end loader. Lifted the rear off the ground. Tried with a come along. Busted it. Said heck with it. Drove another next to it! Lol

With all due respect, I have to say it isn't a good idea to dip parts into your bottle of Hoppe's (or whatever you use). You introduce foreign matter into the entire bottle, which could then end up in your bore or make the solution cloudy. Be well.
@the44thparallel743 жыл бұрын
Very good point, I never do unless I am at the bottom of the bottle. Thanks for bringing it to attention, Kindest Regards.

Man, I can't even begin to imagine the amount of memories that had to wash over you going in there. Hunting for me is always bitter sweet. It's where I keep the best memories of my father who has since passed. My brother moved away many years, and hasn't hunted since my father passed in 2010. We have a few stands that are that old, but nothing enclosed. I just turned 41, and when I build a stand now I build it to hunt in it when I am 60. I went with wood heat in the last one too

Place a monkey wrench on the shaft and tighten it as much as you can. now place a jack under the wrench close to the shaft and lift.

Trying to remember the last time I saw a bumper jack, still trying to think when. Was it on my 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood? Don't use these anymore, understand they don't work well on a thin piece of plastic for a bumper.
@joequillun77904 жыл бұрын
Not really a "bumper" jack, altho similar. They're marketed as a "farm" jack. I have 4, and used for many things. One, they help pull out tree stumps.

Thanks for uploading this! My mom handed down to me my grandfather's, 1973 Glenfield Model 60. Sadly no one in my family shoots so my father in law is going to help me clean it up and I will be the first to fire it since the '70s.
@DcaCo1234 жыл бұрын
Keep it clean and you will be able to hand it down to your grandchild. Remember to clean it often, this will avoid misfire and malfunction.

@DcaCo1234 жыл бұрын
Hello Rob, You have that right. I'm getting up there in age and I am either going to hire someone to put a metal roof on and new fascia and soffits. Or I am going to lease out the blind for trade of fixing it up. Thanks for the comment and greetings from North Michigan USA.
@robbobcat72864 жыл бұрын
what stopped you from using this deer blind until now?
@DcaCo1234 жыл бұрын
Not long ago, Michigan changed their hunting laws and allowed gun hunting from elevated deer blinds. That's when I started hunting from the trees. Now that I'm in my sixties, I find it easier to go back hunting from ground level.
