So... Windows 10 could be using 480MB of ram idling. But it uses a lot more than that for... what, fancy memory allocation?

Have you or anyone had issues with their audio? Im new to using a swiss booted(picoboot) GameCube and no matter what I've tried I cannot get audio from my games. I've tried new cables, re installing files, using a converter, not using a converter and even using a different TV/speaker. The volume is so low I can't hear it unless my tv is maxed out and even then the static is louder than the actual game. Everything else works perfect but I just can't get decent audio. Any suggestions?

I just bought one of these with the intent of upgrading it as a project. After seeing the lengthy Disassembly, I don’t think I want to put my mind and patience through that.. lol…

A lot of PCs had 2 floppy drives. The one I had had 2 simply because I had a 5.25 inch and 3.5 inch. That was in my opinion a good thing to have since not all software came on all of the same diskettes. Now these days no one produces those diskettes or sells new ones. Is there anyone who makes them at all? I remember a time when you would go to any store that sold anything computer related and they would have shelves full of floppies in packages of varying sizes from 10 up to 100 or more floppies in a box. Then came along flash drives and now we mostly download our software.

My first PC was build my my dad and his brother I think, 100mhz Pentium 1 & Viper 4MB GPU( which also got upgraded to a Rage128 shortly after - still have a driver CD for it), but my second (XP) and third PC (Vista) were pre-build by I think Alternate and then Medion (this one probably even bought at Aldi)

If anyone wonders about the bose cheapness, look at the driver,, they’re so cheap they designed it with one less screw than 99,99% of all others. Remember old Peugeot had 3 wheel nuts on their cheap cars. STUPID !!!! 😂😂😂

Apple should do this with the iPad if they ever have issues selling those idiotic things. You'll be able to transform your iPad into an iMac. That is, for about 3-6 years which is what iOS & Android devices last anyway. They get really slow & glitchy after that.

How well do NetBSD, HaikuOS, ArcaOS work on Vortex86 ? Or on the various DMP EBOX with Vortex86 devices? They start at like $125 or so on their store… and those have models with audio, some with massive I/O and up to 2GB RAM
