I had no social media for a long time. Probably about 5 years. I recently made a Facebook account and it is so much different than 5 years ago. It’s mostly reels and just entertainment that sucks you in. I felt like I needed it because of moving to a new town, but now I have it I find it is a waste of time.

The camera is a double edged sword... Its GREAT to be able to take photos... but I do not want to be able to see them, on the phone itself. Its addicting too. It would be nice if one need to just transfer them to a pc to see them :)

This is exactly what I need right now 😅 I love this framework for a couple reasons. First, I've spent enough time establishing my spiritual habits that I realized I never contemplated what the next domain should be to "build upon" that (using a language Paul used in 1 Cor 3:10-15). I was gonna go straight to vocation, until you made a great point on the physical habits first. I admit I tend to overlook it, but it just makes a lot of sense to move "outward" 😄 Second, I was intrigued to see recreational come before vocational. Regardless of whether that's applicable for all, I feel that that is exactly what I need. As someone who can easily turn to productivity for my worth, prioritizing Sabbath and enjoying God's blessings (Ecclesiastes 5:19) would actually help me to put the gospel at the forefront of my mind when it's so easy to default to "works righteousness". At least, that's particularly relevant to me. Stewarding work and finances should be, as you said, the natural outworking of a heart fully assured and right with God first. 😊 Thanks for such an insightful video Reagan! The ONLY thing I wish the light phone 3 had was Spotify. It’s got a music player but personally I don’t have all my music just sitting on my computer anymore. If they added Spotify so I can plug it in my car and listen to music I’m 1000% sold

Grateful for this episode as I have struggled with creating a plan and how God sees it when we do that. He knows our days intimately, always before we do. I think it would take a lot of prayer and contemplation to learn His heart for us, beyond the obvious. Were you confident when you made your plan that those items were His idea for you?

One must balance themselves. A phone that targets distractions is good but one that's not counter productive and lacks tracking investments and money making apps such as emails and workplace groups is useless.

This was so good and so needed! Even though we're told that sleep is a priority, many are still trying to "get by" on a few hours. It adds up. For the "R" I am trying to Read the Word because I figure 1) my brain will be meditating on it and 2) the Enemy hates it, so he'll give up and let me sleep. Win!

Those complaining about the price being $799, it’s literally just a placeholder. The CEO said he hasn’t came up with a set price yet and he said if it sells well, they’d be able to make it cost less (which guaranteed will happen). Expect the final price to be around $499 or $549.

Price is essentially suicide. I understand it's meant to just include the bare basics you need for a device. But Geez 800 is crazy.

My view on the process point: they are building this phone to be the last phone you’ll need. No need for yearly upgrades like all big techs out there. This company will not have the constant yearly revenue of people upgrading there phones year after year. So to me, the higher price point allows them to exists and service this phone further down the road.

If it's basically smartphone with a minimalist OS UI, why not release and share the OS?
