Jane, I am so sorry for you, Jim, and the rest of your family and Alice’s friends and send you all my condolences. Like most people, I was never lucky enough to meet Alice, I only ‘knew’ her through You Tube and Instagram and I had the pleasure of doing a buddy read with her of Three Men in a Boat, but I felt a real connection to her. I was stunned to hear of her passing and I’ve been thinking of her ever since. I can only imagine what those of you who were closest to her are feeling. My thoughts are with you. I’m going to revisit some of her videos where she talks about what is still on her giant bookshelf and get at least one of those books off it for her. RIP lovely Alice and, Jane, Jim and family, take care of yourselves.
