What an inspiring journey bagging Beinn Udlamain and Sgairneach Mhor! 🏔 The rugged beauty of the Scottish Highlands is on full display, and your adventure really captures the thrill and challenge of Munro bagging. The views from the summits are absolutely breathtaking, making all the effort worthwhile. I appreciate how you've shown both the physical demands and the rewarding experiences that come with climbing these peaks. Thanks for taking us along on this incredible hike - truly motivating for any outdoor enthusiast!

The hand traverse is well protected, friend and nut placement is more than adequate. Regards the second. It could be a long swing and if you have a inexperienced second I would suggest that the leader climbs higher up and belays above the slab . There's adequate places to do this about twenty feet above the normal stance at the end of the traverse. Note to avoid rope drag only place runners to the mid point of the traverse. 😀

Great stuff Campbell, thoroughly enjoyed that. I've given you a sub too. Glad my vid gave you some inspiration and thanks for sharing the link to my video. If you guys fancy a similar bike and boat adventure, take a look at Loch Doine and Loch Voil. You can cycle to the end of Loch Doine and paddle back to Balquhidder (there is a parking spot at the end of Loch Voil and you can get off the water just beyond Stronvar and hike across the bridge and back to the van (there is a vid on my channel showing this trip). Awesome stuff, looking at doing it myself next year now that I've got a packraft. Do us a favour though, if you're going to have a ground fire please put more water on than that. If it's still steaming it's still too hot. We're just along the coast and had plenty fires that people think are out but they continue to burn underground, sometimes for days, before coming back to the surface and becoming wildfires.
