*sorry for my English grammar. Thank you very much indeed, Sir. I'm a big fan of Martin Originals (non-coated) traditional 80/20 bronze/brass. I'm rarely use coated strings. This Kovar non-coated strings, for me : bright & clean and a bit brilliant/non-boomy, smooth too with kinda "lo-fi vibe" feel. Love it! I will buy soon, hopely

I have a sickness and there is only one cure and that is MORE PEARL!!!! Dr. Welby you have that cure! What a stunning example of what Martin does when they step into a project. That Engleman top really does pop under that silver finish. The aluminum trim on the ebony saddle and the pick guard, along with the soft silver Waverly’s….I mean it all just works so well together. That would be enough if that is all this was, but then you turn the thing around and that Guatee Body…I mean just stop! I’m sitting here watching this and asking myself…..okay…total moonshot but if I bring in everything I own that has strings on it, re-finance my house and tell the wife I know she is keeping the dog in the divorce, promise to mow Mark’s yard for the rest of my life…is it worth it? Probably….but it will not be at Reno’s long enough for me to find out. Great video Mr. R. You knew to keep the words to a minimum on this one and just let the OMJM-45 do the talking. I look forward to hearing it played.

I really dig the outline bridge and guard with the bound neck. Definitely this is the all out version! Some details should make other models if it makes sense. Dunno why I like the outline bridge look but it’s definitely right for this guitar. The back is just ridiculously beautiful.

I wanna see the D18 with the 3 piece back too if that one’s gonna be for sale (could’ve just been a customer’s) ! Also still curious if that Kopp SJ maple ever made it to market. All outta my price range ATM most likely but SO many cool guitars come through Reno’s/GuitarHotline. It’s difficult to keep up!

Dr. Welby….that mic tells no lies. I have never recorded my playing, no witnesses that way, but that sounded like I was sitting right across from you. Oh…and what can we say about that D-18 with all the right bells and whistles? There are many imitators but only one king. There must be something in the air in Nazareth PA because their instruments are just better, especially anything that comes from the Custom Shop. As always, thanks for the video.

Cool song, what's the title? Any good tutorials to play in that style?
@calebbhawkinsАй бұрын
That is an old hymn called Uncloudy Day and my arrangement is largely based off the work of Doc Watson. As for learning the style I suggest Flatpick Nation on KZfaq. Patrik is a friend and a crazy good player who teaches the basics of cross picking like that.
