Don't be a fool! Don't pay the ridiculous astronomical prices they are asking or anywhere close to it. Let the dealerships go bankrupt, they deserve to be on the short-end of the stick for a change. Just dont buy anything! Don't be that sucker that pays the asking price and justifies their price gouging so the price won't budge because one fool willingly paid that much....screw 'em!

I still owned a Taco pre-runner and bought it new in 2003 19k, still running like new! everything is still original except Engine oil, ATF fluid, new serpentine belt! 178kmiles, cold AC, V6 3.0L. I used it for my business over the years, it brought me a ton of money. I want to buy a new Taco but too much for a 4-cylinder, I put it off. I will use it until it falls a part, then send it to Junkyard!

All the feedback primarily from new 4th gen owners can’t say nothing but good things about the new 2024 Tacoma. It’s very amusing to me how there are as many if not more negative opinions as good opinions about the new Tacoma. Being a first gen owner for over 24 years and now a 3rd gen owner, test driving the 4th gen recently I felt the new platform was more cheaply built than the previous gen Tacoma and frankly, couldn’t wait to get back behind the wheel of my 3rd gen Tacoma. Bottom line, if you bought and love the 4th gen Tacoma, good for you however stop trying to convince 3rd gen or any other potential buyers that your opinions and experience should be taken seriously and what your now driving is garbage because in all honesty, the 4th gen Tacoma lacks the necessary quality control to justify anyone trading in whatever they have for the newest Tacoma.

My wife bought a 2019 with 30k miles for 36k. Slapped a camper shell on it and man is that 3.5L underpowered.

If this were a V6 instead of a turbo four-banger, then I would definitely go for this rather than the 2023 I bought last week.

I'd like to test drive one soon. 4cylinder power has been disappointing in many vehicles but if it's rated in the 300s, It's gotta be good. The mpg has to be a tad bit better and we know people are going to tune this engine right away, possibly making 400 with a tune. And toyota has made very reliable engines so far.

Only if it's a 4.0L V6. I can't stand the 2GR.
