ooh man buy a new phone, your imagequality is so bad it makes me drunk and gives me headache. the RS5 runs always rough when cold, you can only minimize it with a full carbonvalve cleaning. After the warmup the intake flap changes position and the airflow in cilinders is different, which gives it a smoother burn. But probs for the info. keep them coming.

This report is BS. Any vehicle can have the problems that you reviewed because the previous owners were irresponsible. You didn't highlight anything of relevance that was the result of VW/Audi engineers, but rather the irresponsibility of the users. People looking to purchase a vehicle for their new College student will need such education on what to look for, and not for seasoned adults having experience with previous vehicles.

For those watching this video, checking the oil level should be done after the car ran for a while, oil temp reached optimum, and the car was left to cool down for 10 minutes. Then you can check the oil, that's how Mazda engineers are recommending to check the oil level properly.
@ShowCareMtlQc5 ай бұрын
cold check is useful to make sure there is sufficient oil to start the engine at the very least

Hey guys you know what they say a car and a woman it's a game of luck . I had mine 2007 W204 c200 cdi for 5 years now no problems what so ever. I just change my oil and filter in timely manner. Mine is 136 hp it's not the fastest one no chips completely stock but for me it's enough to handle my daily tasks. The car is very comfortable very smooth engine and gearbox it gives me more pleasure to tell you the truth to cruise slowly than to drive it fast it's a relaxing and luxurious experience. It has enough power to overtake trucks and big commercial vehicles in dangerous junctions and it doesnt brake the wallet. I like the newer ones but Im afraid I wont have the same luck again I just dont wanna sell it to some lucky dude 😀 well I hope you guys find a good one like me 😉

You should not mix 134a with 12a , they are a completely different type of coolant with different characteristics , completely different molecules .. Also 12a uses mineral oils for lubrication , 134a uses synthetic oil, they dissolve each other over time and can kill your compressor .. If your read the instructions on the can, they actually tell you to evacuate your system first , then recharge with 12a..
@ShowCareMtlQc11 ай бұрын
Interesting , i didn’t read . How ever since A/C was not working I suppose the system was mostly empty all ready . Except for the oil I guess
@averyalexander23033 ай бұрын
"R12a" is just a mix of propane and isobutane and is compatible with mineral, POE, and PAG oil. I know it won't chemically react with R134a since some refrigerant blends actually contain R134a with a small amount of isobutane to help with oil return, but it will definitely affect the pressures and probably negatively affect the system's performance and possibly longevity. One manufacturer of hydrocarbon refrigerants (Duracool IIRC) actually says on their website that the requirement to remove all the remaining refrigerant first is only regulatory and that accidentally mixing it with the remaining refrigerant won't cause any damage, but however you look at it, it's definitely inadvisable to mix different refrigerants.
@lebojay24 күн бұрын
To properly evacuate the system, you only need a cheap vacuum pump from Am@zon. Just so people know, having to evacuate doesn’t mean you need a pro.
@jamesmiehe776420 күн бұрын
You are probably thinking of r12 and not R12A. They are very different. The R12A is fully compatible and you can mix them and it is fine. Legally it has to be evacuated first in Canada but in reality it makes no difference. Definitely you cannot use R12 but again our 12A is compatible with no issues.
@averyalexander230320 күн бұрын
@@jamesmiehe7764 R12a (a mix of propane and isobutane) is also a totally different chemical than R134a, which is a synthetic gas. Like I said, they won't chemically react, but that doesn't mean whatever blend you create is going to work properly without causing damage. Refrigerants are weird. Sometimes you can mix two or more different refrigerants and end up with a blend with a higher pressure than any one refrigerant on its own. The other major issue with mixing refrigerants is how to you recover and dispose of it if/when it doesn't work properly or the system needs repairs? It can't be recovered as R134a or even with an R134a recovery machine since you now have a flammable/explosive gas. Just don't do it, bad idea all the way around. Either recharge with R134a or have all the remaining R134a removed and recharge with R12a.

@@MomFirstAAA hey there. The expansion valve needs to be replaced whenever the ac system is serviced...just like the dryer needs to be replaced. Usually the valve is accessible by removing the passenger side glove box and underside panels. If you don't trust your mechanic, go get a second opinion and judge for yourself. It's still labor intensive. At least 1 hour to remove that valve. Good luck
