I thought this was in Maine, USA by the title of the video but then all I heard was Russian in the video. I should have figured it was in Russia because with the way we bubble-wrap kids in the USA nowadays and treat them as if they’re made out of porcelain, no way would we ever see a submission grappling tournament involving kids in this country.

People on the sideline should stfu. All that yelling must be confusing when they are trying to focus on their match. Do your coaching during training. The mat is their time.

So in a kids sparing match is there no tapping the ref stops when a submission is applied?
@vilevandal25403 жыл бұрын
Yes. Since kids generally arent as aware of The injury risk that comes with submissions the referee stops the fight before anyone gets Hurt, especially when The kids are that young. As you can see the arm was fullt extended and The joint was therefore locked in a strait position which can hyper extend the joint, thus causing injury. Another reason as to why The referee stops the fight is because kids often get eager when locking submissions. Hope this helps!

Wow, Harper locks on a triangle eight seconds into the match, rolls her over into the mounted triangle, spreads her hands out foward on the mat for stability and lets the triangle do its work - to get the submission in 45 seconds! Impressive. Her opponent wasn't going anywhere, she was wise to tap. It is clear Harper trains hard - OSS!.

Hi Gauge and I wanted to thank you for helping us in our novice tournament experience. at the Good Fight. Icaro seems to understand how to compete at a high level and also to just roll for fun. Gauge had a great time learning at the tournament. We posted a video on Gauges KZfaq. Plus we hope to see you at the tournaments competing in the near future. Thanks Again Icaro for making it enjoyable.
