I don't currently have this game but I might get it and if I do I will need to know: are axes better combat weapons than swords?

Well you see you need to check the enchantments and the stats when you start you will have 1 or 2 enchantment slots when you get higher you get 3 everything in the game shows how much damage it does or how much it heals even the enchantments have these stats the game it self is really fun so if you do get it tell me what you think. (:
