We, the protagonists, are always the true enemies and villains. We are the ones who destroy and kill without thinking, the ones who end up regretting it because the "villains" of the story always end up having better and nobler causes than ours... when you think about their motivations coldly. You just have to put yourself in the shoes of Vaas, Pagan Min, Joseph Seed, and Antón Castillo, and then you understand everything. Seeing our monstrous actions from their perspective... and they try to stop us because they would save more lives than we take. That's why I love Far Cry; we are never the heroes.

Let me preface this with the fact that I’m not even a gamer (last system I bought was the original Wii console, what - 20 years ago?). That being said, this game looks astonishingly good, from the amazing graphics (ofc) & the incredible story/world building they were able to accomplish. I’ve watched dozens of hours of gameplay from this franchise, and I’m not kidding I’ve been considering getting a PS5 just to play the two most recent GOW titles. I think I should just get it over with, as I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s last year, and I’m only 34 years old. I want to experience things that requiring manual dexterity before I lose permanent control of my limbs. It’s already taken everything from me, so I might as well have things to do when I’m stuck at home, as it’s only a matter of time before my drivers license is taken away due to persistent seizures. No worries, nobody will see this lololol

I was kind of miffed by how pathetic the "nukes" in the show were, I was hoping for a sudden *flash-whoosh* everything flattened like an actual strategic nuclear strike, the nukes in the first scene of the show are just like... A really big chemicals factory explosion. Nukes in general in Fallout are a lot less destructive than in real life but the lethargic, fiery mushroom cloud and lazy shockwave was a real let down. Even the flash was pathetic, a nuclear detonation is like a second sun rising over the target... Even the videogame mininukes capture that better.

Freya is actually correct, it's easier to feel someone's temperature using the back of your hand rather than your palm or fingers since the back is thinner and more sensitive to temperature changes

This game, while good, might have one of the worst endings in any game I’ve played. After that overly-long final boss that just DRAGS for way too long (especially that annoying “it’s those stupid wings!” phase”, Aerith is dead. Then she’s not. Then she is. Then she’s not. Then she is. Then she’s not. So either this is one of those stupid metaphorical things, or they just ruined what could have been a much-improved remake of a dramatic moment.
