Yes I did it that way then tried it my normal way, It happened both times? Not sure if it was the sugar as I never had caster so used granulated, and on first go used 6 eggs but then you had said 7, So I will have to try again just means I have to eat more cakes 🤷🏼♀️
@MysteryBakerАй бұрын
It's 6 eggs. Are you checking with a skewer or knife to see whether it's cooked properly. If the skewer comes out clean, it's ready. If not, then cook further xx

Little tip place a tray in oven when heating oven. Then place quiche on tray. The heat from tray will help cook the bottom of pastry. Give it a go, I have every confidence. 😍

The Hand whisk has been discontinued, but it's a kenwood brand. The food processor was a cheapie, but has lasted several years. The brand is Moulinex, you don't need to pay a lot, so don't be tempted to pay for anything over £50. Xx

Tq...can i bake yhe cake in June, if so how often must i feed the cake? Thx a million
@MysteryBaker5 ай бұрын
I'm sure you could, but what I'd say is, it may be better to bake it 3 months prior to December at most. In order to ensure the cake is at its best. Baking cakes months and months in advance does have challenges. The temperature including humidity in country you're making it, the way its stored etc, could compromise the cake if kept for several months. Hope that helps x

I was looking for a recipe for a very basic cheese and onion tart where the onion still has a crunchiness and almost rawness and the cheese strong, almost chunky and "in your face". Not looking for "light" or "creamy", just a lovely fresh taste like a chesse and onion sandwich almost. Think I have found what I'm looking for here and going to give it a go. I wonder if it would work with spring onions with plenty of the green part?
@MysteryBaker5 ай бұрын
Oh yes, I totally understand what you mean. they still retain their semi rawness. Of course use spring onions, they'll be lovely too. 😍

Seeing this video makes me hungry. I love corned beef. I love making corned beef hash. Tastes better. I would love to try this recipe but i feel the urge to add a vegetable of some kind. Not sure what would be good with corned beef but carrots sound good with corned beef. Maybe some other stuff, but not bunches. After all , the corned beef is the star of the pie. It sounds so filling and tasty and just really nice comfort food. Perfect for winter. And since you can get it together ahead of time and set it in the fridge. Handy for those days when you come home tired and can just have it ready to cook.
