You know how they always tell you to lift up and not rest your weight on your hip? It took me hell of a long time to figure out what they mean and even longer to put it into practise, but once I put pointe shoes on, the effect was immediate. You feel taller, as though your legs are 3 miles long, almost floating above the floor. Not to be a tiresome cliche, but you do feel regal, like a princess or a bird. At least at times. That being said, it hurts like hell when you've removed all your callouses and/or have a wrong shoe for your feet. I was obsessed with Grishkos and could differentiate between them by the spots of blood in each shoe. Now with Bloch, I don't feel as tall, but at the same time, I'm not constantly looking for band-aids either. It's hard work (and I've lost a toenail or two to it), but so worth it. :)

You ever stand on your toes in a swimming pool with all your weight on the big toe? It’s roughly that much pressure/pain as far as the big toe is concerned. The rest of the toes might rub the inside of your shoe and stuff too. I always have to breakdown part of the front of the vamp of the shoe or i get blisters on my baby toe.

It is amazing but hurts like hell a little. I have only had 1 pointe class so far. My teacher told us it gets easier.

Да, путь , конечно тернистый : от такой божественной красоты до демонстрации промежности и писанья под ёлочкой . На каком - то этапе произошел слом системы. . Эх, Настя , что можно в данном случае пожелать - это чуда в виде сильного , надёжного плеча рядом и тогда ,быть может , не все ещё потерянно . Желаю !

@@matteomalaspina9200 Assurdo infatti. Non che mi stupisca di certe scelte "politiche" ma ci sono documentari e altra roba anni '70 molto tendente all'estrema sinistra, sempre su raiplay. Comunque cercatelo nelle biblioteche comunali, io a Roma l'ho visto in molte (prestito interbibliotecario) ed eventualmente masterizzatelo e diffondetelo. È per una buona causa ❤️
