I bought WGen12000c from Amazon in July '23 but didn't set it up until Oct. The unit never started. Called customer support multiple times and sent emails. Customer support informed me that the generator was built in 2021 and the carburetor is bad. They wouldn't replace the unit or provide onsite repair because of the Westinghouse warranty on this unit. Customer support has sent me a replacement carburetor but instructions to replace the part is not available from customer support, on the Westinghouse website or on KZfaq. Can someone please post a step by step instructions for replacing the carburetor in the WGen12000c generator?

I bought this model and it has never worked. Called Westinghouse warranty/customer support, received a case number, but never, in 12 months of trying and dozens of calls, I have never received a call back from a tech or was forwarded to a tech. They always say they are too busy and someone will get back to me. They don't. So I wasted $2500 for a piece of metal that does nothing.

Absolutely untrue. Watch Mike Holt videos on this topic. There have been multiple cases in recent years that people have lost their lives because they added a ground rod when it was not only unnecessary, it was against NEC code!

I bought and own this model of the vacuum cleaner. The video would be much better if the LARGE TEXT and red text boxes on the screen didn't overlay and hide a large portion of the video while it was playing. This made the video itself almost useless in terms of effectiveness.

There are a lot more items that a 'Modified Sine Wave' can damage. Brushless DC motors are in 'NEWER' refrigerators, air conditioners and washing machines... LED TV's and Microwaves do not act well w/MSW... I'm looking for something to change my OLD generator to produce a 'PURE SINE WAVE'. INVERTER generators are more expensive; but highly recommended.

He should have addressed the importance of a 'PURE SINE WAVE' vs a 'MODIFIED SINE WAVE'. And as one commenter stated: "Inverter generator is best".

I like the Duramax and I'm looking at purchasing the 13000EH but when I saw this commercial I feel that the production lacked a visible assistant of the 15000EH too many Graphics of automobiles we need to see what we're getting not what we imagine we would get when the announcer is telling us what's in the box show us what's in the box not examples of a funnel and a car wheels show us the wheels of the generator

Idiotic video that repeats and repeats the needs for a generator......but half-way through I still see no discussion on the purity of power issue....just some idiotic comments to check if the generator output is FUSED ! ( ?...really..???)..and such other nonsense...like capacity or general safety precautions. Yes...safety is a proper concern but the TITLE of this vid is the danger to electronics being fed, and we had hoped some info of WHICH type generators,and which electronics being fed...are ok or not OK to match. Is the generator power "clean" vs "Dirty" as to the produced sine wave...that should be the focus...and THEN.....does the electronics you are supporting allow whatever is being produced without damage....that is the core question.....didn't find an answer here. Basic: Most electrical devices will NOT care if the electrical power is perfect. A regular generator will ALWAYS be above or below the usual frequency (50 or 60 Hz), which is "good enough". But certain electronics, like UPSes will NOT work with generator power, unless the generator produces pure syne wave output!

It doesn't come with a pull start. If you don't trickle charge a backup battery, you won't get it started. Stupid design for a $2500 generator

If both systems neutral is permanently connected always then your generator DOES NOT need a ground rod BUT YOUR GENERATOR HAS TO BE BONDED GROUND TO NEUTRAL.
